Poor Quality Care
Dr. Hodde “treated” my father at UVM. She seemed more interested in ending his life and clearing the bed space than in helping him. She took little input from his next of kin and I have no doubt she shortened his life and reduced its quality while he was in her care. I am shocked to see she is still working there.

Cold. Callous. Not deserving of the respect that comes with the title “doctor”. That is how I would describe Dr. Hodde. She should never be in end of life care, or any care truly that involves interacting with patients.

I would recommend Dr. Hodde if you want a care provider that is not patient oriented, does not reassure or support a patient through care, and is only focused on money/her own professional gains rather than patient comfort. She SHOULD NOT work on a floor such as Miller 5 (oncology in-patient) where patients are vulnerable and need their Dr.'s utmost care and compassion. Because she shows none. Even going as far as to make my aunt feel like a burden to the hospital staff and my family just for trying to get even a few more good days out of life. I feel a medical professional should support such a wish and seek to aid a patient in reaching this. Any occasion in which she interacted with my aunt resulted in tears and a feeling of worthlessness. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE OF ANY SO CALLED "PROFESSIONAL'. Do not seek care of any sort from this woman.

She didn't seem to have any of my records. When I discussed concerns, she glossed over them like they were nothing: I told her that I noticed my eyes were yellow and that both of my parents had pancreatic cancer. Nothing! I was there for a complete physical;(1 1/2 year wait) she gave none of the results about my bloodwork, she was going to do a breast exam and only checked one! She basically rolled her eyes when I asked her to do a pelvic exam. I don't think she even listened to my heart!

I haven't met Dr. Hodde, but the office staff is incredibly incompetent. They could not schedule an appt until I completed new patient paperwork. It took 6 wks for the packet to arrive. I returned it in person 2 days later. I was past due for cancer screening. I scheduled the test myself because it took 4 wks after I dropped off pkt to receive a call to schedule my initial appt. My prescription was called in to wrong pharmacy. I called office to tell them. They did nothing. I had 'script moved.
