Terrible! I received one phlebotomy then every time he checked my blood he said it was high but he was raising the lever before I got a treatment. I did not feel comfortable with him something just felt off. I managed to get a referral to another doctor and when they checked my blood my count was insanely high. My hemadicrit was 60 and anything over 45 needs a phlebotomy! My new doctor said my god what was he doing and rushed me over to get one. I could have easily had a stroke or gotten a blood clot and died!

The office staff were professional & friendly. Like most patients who find themselves in need of this particular service, my anxiety level was off the scale when I arrived for my first visit. Even though I am a retired registered nurse, I did not know what to expect. The office staff, through the kind & caring personalities they exhibited, were able to substantially ratchet-down my anxiety level. After meeting with the physician, I found him to be direct & "to the point," yet professional & friendly . . . the way I imagine most patients would hope to be dealt with in such a situation.

The Thomas Hospital Oncology center is one of the BEST in WVa. Small, friendly but knowledgeable of all clinical trials and most recent research. Dr Jogenpally is an exceptional man, he wants your experience to be positive. Staff is available 24/7. Calls are promptly returned. You are NOT a number here! We are battling pancreatic cancer for 18 months now. Dr Jogenpally n staff have been with us every step of the journey. A+ isn’t high enough praise for this team.
