Dr Mandova is the best doctor in the region. I trust him. Dr. Mandova is excellent in monitoring my diabetic retinopathy and saved miy vision. He is kind and caring. Their is no else I trust.

Dr. Mandava is a thorough, compassionate caring doctor. He answers my questions explaining them in a way that is understandable to a lay person. I trust Dr. Mandava's opinion regarding the health of my eyes. He is an excellent opthalmologist.

The doctor, techs, interns, and staff are a well oiled machine!

Dr. Mandava is extremely competent in the field of macular degeneration. He is caring, concerned and excellent at explaining medical conditions. The staff is competent, courteous and respectful. The optical department at the University is outstanding; better than any other I have experienced. For people with extremely compromised vision, the staff takes extra care to make sure the glasses are as good as they can be.

I remember taking my sister in law to her appointments, she literally could not even see. I had to hold her hand and guided her. Dr. Mandava had done research and performed surgery on both her eyes and changed her life. Her children were very young, in grade school. She recently passed away after they graduated from college. Dr. Madava had helped her spent 15 more years to raising her children and watching them grow up. I would recommend this kind hearted big man Dr. anytime. Thanks Dr.

I started with Dr. Mandava for a routine appt., he caught my retina was starting to detach before I was having symptoms (and then fixed it). I've since had some progressive eye degeneration and Dr. Mandava is doing what he can to help me keep my vision. He always spends as much time with me as I need, and I assume he is doing the same with others which sometimes results in waiting, but it's well worth it for his bedside manner.
