She has recently joined the staff at Viva Eve Manhattan-- might not be a good move for that clinic. She was brusque, pushed a specific procedure to me and argued only after my describing my symptoms to her, even before even seeing any ultrasound results, described medical procedures and complications in an insensitive way (did not affect me personally, but could upset expectant mothers), and was very disorganized with paperwork.

Never returns calls, sends in wrong prescriptions, never in the office. She should retire before she makes more mistakes.

I went to Dr. A. for a gyn problem, which three other doctors snuffed off as age related. After a comfortable examination, she diagnosed the problem, and gave me the proper medication. Her approach is holistic, with concern for the overall health of her patients, rare among so-called specialists. In addition to her knowledge, she is a pleasure to talk with. I was coughing during the exam, and when it was completed, she personally came back to the room with a glass of water...a simple gesture that is testimony to her kindness.I've already called my friends to recommend her, with complete confidence..

Delivered baby incompetently, arrogantly and caused brain damage. Treated me hideously after she botched the birth. There is a special circle of hell for doctors like her. Several months later she almost made the same mistake with a friend's friend. Fortunately for that baby, it was ok. My daughter has had nothing but pain and disability

I don't know if Dr. A. is a good doctor, or not. But, I found her easy to talk to and was starting to build trust. However, I will never go back to that office again. (I saw her through Northwell Health OBGYN on 69th Street.). 1. The office lost the results of my pap smear - even though the insurance paid them. 2. They could not find the results of an X-ray for several months even though Lenox Hill confirmed faxing it to them two days after the visit, and 3. After three days of phone calls to get a prescription, the doctor called in a wrong prescription to the pharmacy. I don't know where the F^&&k up is, but I'm out of there.

I went to Dr. Ahgharian because I had taken a drug that is known to cause ovarian cancer. I visited a few drs, she was the only one who listened. She monitored me regularly and when the time came for surgery she saved my life. On the day of my surgery she waited for me to wake up to tell me how it went. I am very grateful to her. When my insurance refused to pay for the surgery she allowed me to pay her what I was able to. I have always enjoyed my appointments with dr. Ahgharian. She spends a good amount of time with me and never rushes. We talk about my health and about what it's like being a woman. I admire her greatly. She is an amazing doctor and a wonderful human being. I feel very fortunate to have had her as my doctor.

One of the worst experiences at a doctor's office. Doctor was not tactful, interrupted me, and overall made me feel uncomfortable. Put me down and was very condescending when answering questions. She might be intelligent, but her bedside manner is awful. "I am not one of those doctors who will sit here and hold your hand." Did not discuss options for BC with me, or side effects/anything from my medical history that should be taken into account when starting new medications. On top of all of that, she did not even send the prescription into the pharmacy. Will never come back.

I have been going to Dr A my entire adult life and she is the only doctor I would trust. She is smart, honest, straightforward and does not waste time or push unnecessary procedures. It is a shame there are not more doctors like her.

Horrible doctor & person! Proclaimed repeatedly she could do a procedure. Later after several unanswered phone calls/emails inquiring for the details I found out she could not do the procedure. Per her own admittance she is not qualified, and stated she could be 'legally liable' if she did the procedure. Did she expect that I would go through with it without asking for a written writeup on what is involved?! I wasted an entire appointment, meanwhile she get's paid by my insurance company!
