Dr. Nasha Holt, MD

dr holt is extremely knowledgeable in regard to the various types of migraines & provides great educational materials for her patients. her exam is thorough & staff top notch. However, “the hook” is she requires her oarients to also see Dr Jeff Turner, a physical therapist who made my condition worse. when a patient of Dr Holt’s does not respond to her treatment plan in a timely manner, the patients is made to feel at fault, and she then will “shame” the patient. very unfortunate because as a chronic migraine sufferer, that is the last thing one wants to feel from their trusted doctor. Dr Jeff Turner, who she requires all patients also see when going through her orogram, has horrible bedside manners.

Dr Holt is EXACTLY what I look for in a doctor. I have suffered for years with headaches. I previously had no faith in doctors because I had been to so many and no one was able to help. I was so glad to have found Dr. Holt. She is truly a holistic doctor. Imaging identified a problem. So we (it is a team effort) went to work on fixing (healing) the physical issue but we also worked on improving everything from posture (awake and sleeping), exercise (so EZ), quality of sleep, simple physical and breathing exercises, etc... It was an overall easy program that did require minimal time out of each day and I learned so much (physical, mental and spiritual) about how to take care of myself. My program has come to an end except for a follow up down the road but I highly recommend Dr. Holt if you suffer from headaches want to know why you have headaches and how to stop them. I am so grateful to Dr Holt and staff for helping me improve my quality of life.

Have been going to the Headache Institute for awhile now. Dr. Holt and her PA are wonderful. She listened to me and did a throurough exam upon my first visit. She prescibed me medicaition and daily exsercises along with weekly assigments to complete. I went from getting Migraines everyday to now only getting them a couple of times a month. The Dr. Holt and her staff are very compassionate and always make sure to explain everything completly and carefully.

A family member had an initial consult with Dr. Holt this week for chronic migraines. The doctor gave no pain medication and simply verbally instructed a family member to get "powdered ginger" and magnesium from a grocery store. No written instructions on dosage, frequency or how to use. Furthermore, the doctor ordered lab work that needed to be done "urgently" on a Friday afternoon, but didn't provide any contact numbers for the lab that we could use to schedule URGENT lab work. Disconcerting.

This is a real review, I had posted a review on this website but somehow was Deleted. This doctor is polite and her office is clean. But, she will refer you to a Chriropractor instead of getting down to the root of the problem. Be very careful please get a second opinion before treating your issue with a chiropractor. It might just save your life.

If I honestly told you how remarkable this Doctor is, you would think I was her father doing a fake review. I am 64 and have had many doctors before and since, and she was the best of the best. In fact, the reason I have had so many doctors since she moved out of my local area, is none of them can come close to touching the bar she set for my expectations of a doctor. She is truly extraordinaire.

One of the most caring and compassionate doctors you will every find. If you want a doc to just write you a prescription, then go somewhere else. If you want a doctor who approaches your health concern from every angle and avenue and tries the least invasive procedures and methods first, then welcome to a first class health care experience. She truly cares and it shows.

Several weeks ago I gave a negative review to Dr. Holt. I was under the impression that my calls were being ignored. Turns out Allison was out sick for several days. I owe an apology to Dr. Holt and her staff. They've been treating my son and he's improved since. They deserve an excellent review. I am sincerely sorry.

my experience with Dr Holt has been an amazing encounter. She is considerate, she listens, explains every move she makes and inquires if you have any questions. Dr Holt makes you feel at ease and therefore better able to help you. YES I would recommend Dr Holt and have already to several of my friends. Her office staff is amazing they reflect the same consideration to each pt and the dr does. All I can say is IF you are needing a neuro specialist the Dr Holt is the dr for you. Call her.
