Rude and Assumptive
Talking in a flat, monotone voice to someone who is in excruciating pain and is asking for help is NOT, in fact, good bedside manner. Instead of repeating the things you're insisting on not doing, maybe communicate to the patient what your actual plan is. If you think something is not being treated properly, be mad at the system, not the victim of it. You were so worked up about your rights as a doctor, your ego is so fragile that you were threatened by a crying, suffering human. Disgusting. Pathetic. Get a new job instead of making people as miserable as you, thanks.
