I have seen Dr. Wilson twice and have been pleased both times. Once for a well visit and once for a sick visit. She was thorough both times. I appreciated her willingness to listen and provide care options. She seems to really care and wants the best for her patients.

Annual visit
Dr Wilson is a very caring and thoughtful physician. She has always listened to everything I had to say. She asked many follow up questions from the previous visit and I feel like she truly knows me as a patient. She also has a great staff that works with her- truly a quality team!

Not Good
I walk into every doctor's appointment prepared to discuss my test results (if applicable) and a short list of concerns, which every provider until Dr. Wilson has appreciated. By doing that, I don't waste anyone's time and the visit is efficient. I have seen Dr. Wilson twice and plan to NEVER see her again. During the first visit, I felt dismissed but thought perhaps I was ill and overly-sensitive. The second visit was a horrible debacle. Dr. Wilson appeared irritated that I asked to share my concerns and questions first. One question was clearly misheard based on her reply, so I apologized and asked to frame my question differently. That resulted in a reply that was repeated eight times at increasing volume. I am not a senior, nor am I hearing or cognitively impaired. When I mentioned what my previous physician recommended, she disparaged not only the recommendation, but also that physician! Dr. Wilson does NOT demonstrate WellStar values at all. Arrogance personified.

A Fantastic Doctor
I have had several very good doctors in the past, including at Wellstar Family Medicine, but believe doctor Wilson is the best. She is very tuned in to several conditions I have and has guided me with recommendations to improve my health. She is very professional in her care process and always delivers information in a direct, but pleasant manner. She has made referrals to other doctors in the Wellstar practices and I have had very good experiences there too. I enjoy her energy, focus and interest in working with me during each visit. She has a great memory of past discussions, and I never feel rushed or unheard. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Horrible Office Visit
My experience was the worst I've had with a physician in the last 50 years. Totally lacking in personality, hid behind a computer almost the entire visit, argumentative, arrogant, refused to address one of the major issues I've had for the last 50 years and then got up and walked out of the examining room without saying a word. I was in tears by the time I got to the lab that anyone could be that rude to a patient. I was angry with myself that I didn't just get up and walk out. Will not be seeing this one again unless it's in a grocery store.

There is another review on here and I had an extremely similar experience. Didn't feel heard at all! Spent the majority of my appointment asking me if I was going to get insurance or suggesting "cheaper" places I could go. I waited 3 months and paid $300 for that...

Horrible!
If I could give 0 stars I would. My experience with Dr. Wilson was awful. She is very cold, has terrible bedside manner and does not know her pharmacology. She spoke poorly about another provider I have whom she doesn’t even know and stated, “I bet your provider didn’t tell you this.” Meanwhile I have an AMAZING relationship with this provider. Dr. Wilson does not provide individual care and instead stereotyped me and put irrelevant information in my chart. She also argued with me about the name of a local dermatology practice although the sign says the name of the practice I stated. I have worked in the medical field for 17 years and been around some fantastic providers, Dr. Wilson IS NOT one of them. She is a horrible listener and needs a lot of training in patient care!

She is a geart listener, she looks at you while your talking and gives you advice in a way that's easy to understand and to the point.
