She crashed my vision
Soon after the first surgery I felt something extra in my left eye, like eyelash touches my orb. Very irritating. The doctor said it was a dry eye, but it's not. I know how I feel in case of dry eye.But things went much worse after the upper lid surgery. I've got so called 'double vision': I see differently by both eyes, my right eye has a picture shifted up, to the right and rotated regarding my left eye. I spent a lot of time, visited three doctors, but nobody could help. Now I have to close one eye to work with a computer and in many other similar activities, I can't drive (if I close one eye I can't properly assess a distance).I found that the surgery really can do such a damage:'Acquired strabismus accompanied by persistent diplopia may occur as a complication of cosmetic blepharoplasty. Extraocular muscle damage resulting in either superior oblique muscle palsy or inferior rectus paresis was noted in these patients.'

Exceptional Doctor and Person
My husband and I have been Dr. Borodoker's patients for about 10 years. We find her to be excellent in every way. I came to her with an extensive history of eye issues that I had seen numerous top doctors for. Not only was (and is) Dr. Borodoker considerate, kind and thorough, she took and continues to take time to explain and answer all questions. She makes sure I get all diagnostic tests to keep my conditions stable. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She has our highest recommendation.

Dr. Borodoker performed my upper eyelid Blepharoplasty surgery on July 2021. I am very delighted with the result of the procedure: My eyes look like many years ago , when I was young. The result is amazing. Before the surgery Dr. Borodoker took time to listen to all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. After talking to Dr. Borodoker , I was confident that I would be pleased with the result. Dr. Borodoker made me feel comfortable from the decision to competition. Dr. Borodoker is very professional, highly skilled and achieved a great cosmetic result. The pre and post operative instructions were clear and well explained. The office staff is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Dr.Borodoker to anyone who wants to look much younger or needs a Blepharoplasty sergery to improve the vision.

I had puffy and saggy eyelids most of my life, hated it and finally began to search for a right doctor for me to solve the problem. I’ve had a few consultations with various doctors before I referred to Dr. Borodoker and I couldn’t be happier with the results of my lower eyelids surgery performed by this precise, caring and professional doctor. Also big thank to the staff who is professional and caring. I will definitely recommend Dr. Borodoker to my family and friends.

I couldn’t be happier with the results of my upper eyelids surgery performed by Dr. Borodoker! I had puffy and saggy eyelids most of my life and hated it. Wish I have done the surgery sooner. It was painless and the whole procedure took less than 1 hour. I’m very happy I found Dr. Borodoker for my eye surgery procedures as well as cosmetic injections. She is very experienced and strives for natural looking results.

I apply to doctor Borodoker after unsuccessful plastic surgery in Manhattan office. That doctor did wrong job. He lift and fixed my right eye on wrong position. After his surgery i have got a pain all the time. Right eye became smallest with an oval shape and many extra skin on the lid. Doctor Borodoker fixed problem. Doctor explained what she plan to do. After her surgery eye became normal size, no pain, stay on right position. Not every one doctor like to fix problem, after other doctor. I am satisfy her work. Thanks for good job.

The worst doctor in NYC! She ruined my mothers eyes. My mom is now extremely self conscious. She cut to much fat from her eyes, and then look much more shallow. Please never see this doctor. She will ruin her life.

I do not usually right rewiews, but this time I desided to share my experience. I have done upper and lower lids 3 weeks ago. Result is even better than I expected. I am already getting a lot of complements. Doctor is amazing, very professional and caring. She was highly recommended and I am very happy that I made that choice.

I waited one hour before being called by a nurse. After eye tests the nurse applied drops to my eyes and told me to wait again. After more than one hour I finally asked nurse if I am going to see the doctor today. Nurse come to the doctor's office and finally I was called in. The doctor was in a hurry and did not look at my eyes. She told me that she could not help me. She gave me the prescription for glasses, which initially wasn't my reason to see the ophthalmologist.
