Dr. Nathalie Nys, DO

She just doesn't care, no test (answer is not recommended) She change tree times my slipping peals and non of them worked. I waited for appointment 7 weeks. I recommended choosing a better doctor.

Dr. nys has an incredible bedside manner, is professional, and talks you through the procedure. She took out my IUD And it was incredibly fast and practically painless.the pap test was painless. I will go to her for every visit!

Dr. Nys needs to work on her bedside manner. She is incredibly short and rude. She also claimed I tested negative for a blood test I did not receive. She also is unwilling to answer questions and was really dismissive when I asked questions after doing my own research. She does not view patients as partners, even those of us who teach college and have multiple master's degrees. I highly recommend choosing a better doctor. She just doesn't care.

I told Dr. Nys that I was struggling with anorexia about a year ago. I found that her response was not only unprofessional but dangerous. Her response was something along the lines of, "Well, you're a healthy weight now." BMI is no indication of recovery or even of the disease itself; people suffering from anorexia can appear in good health, overweight...I believe it's dangerous to promote the idea that people with that disorder have to APPEAR starving to be taken seriously. Especially when speaking to a medical professional. Also, last year my sister went to get screened for STDs/STIs. Dr. Nys took the samples required for the various tests, and instead of waiting for those test results to come back, Dr. Nys made a comment suggesting that it could be "blank" disease. Not only was she wrong as all the tests came back negative, but this comment made my sister incredibly stressed and anxious for no reason.

Dr. Nys is very pleasant and thorough. She never acts rushed, listens carefully, answers all my questions, and addresses all my concerns. She is always willing to discuss possible ways to proceed and never tries to force any medication or procedure on me. I've been seeing her for quite some time and have never had a negative experience.

Lied to me about a government required blood test, didn't listen to the problems I was having, treated other issues that I didn't need treated at that moment instead of what I came in for.

Dr. Nys could use help with her bedside manner. She is very short and rushes you out the door. I was told that she "had run out of ideas" on why I was having specific symptoms. My dentist figured out that my symptoms were due to sleep apnea which Dr. Nys was not able to figure out.
