Total knee replacement.
I really appreciated Dr. Hammel's patience to really listen. He gave clear and realistic answers to all my questions. Through out my experience he gave me confidence by his interest in me personally. I also appreciated his staff and their friendly help. Especially Emilianne Rudd, Dr. Hammel's assistant. She responded quickly by email any time I had a question or request. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammel and wish I could of more than 5 stars.

Hip replacement
Staff was very friendly and accommodating, Dr Hammel explained everything, made sure I had everything I needed, I can’t believe how fast I recovered and how little pain that I had. He actually is greater than 5 stars.

Dr. Hammel has an excellent bed-side manner. Very outgoing, friendly and attentive to my needs. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I had complete confidence in his abilities as an ortho surgeon. I knew I was in good hands.

I can't understand the person with the one-star review. I found out 2 days ago that I have an enormous lipoma on my lower leg. I was anxious to rule out cancer. He fit me in today and I found him to be extremely interested and eager to inform me and answer my questions.

Just had a total knee replacement. EXCELLENT! Had two week post-op appt. and already cleared to drive. Looking forward to being able to being more active and enjoying the outdoors again. New lease on life. Thank you!

Went in for a consulation a few months ago. Was rude, condensing and arrogant when I asked questions. Would never recommend. Staff wasn't very friendly either.

Dr. Hammel just performed my second hip replacement surgery and I am feeling great. 4 days post op and I cannot wait to enjoy my life again that he has given me the opportunity to live to the fullest! He is such an easy going professional that listened to all of my concerns and requests. I cant Thank you enough Dr. Hammel, and will recommend you to all of my loved ones!

I had a hip replacement surgery done last September, 2017. The results have been excellent. All pain in right hip and leg is gone. It hasn't been a full year and I feel like I'm fully recovered. Very, very satisfied.

I had both biceps ripped from my arms in a motorcycle accident involving a wet rubber mat at a gas station. Dr Hammel performed the surgeries to reattach my biceps recently. I am amazed at his work and bedside manner. Very healing personality type too. I will refer my friends to him if they need Othropaedic surgeries.
