I was looking for additional professional input re: my recovery from an arm, shoulder injury at 12 weeks into the recovery and PT process. Dr Howlett and the team at his practice were, and always have been, very professional and knowledgeable. At this appointment he had reviewed all info, did a small amount of further assessment, and discussed a clear plan going forward. This is what I was looking for, and he also scheduled a follow up appointment within an appropriate time frame. I was very pleased with the information I received and am hopeful it will further my recovery. I definitely recommend Dr Howlett as an informed, professional, and kind resource.

I had had 2 shoulder replacements. Then I fell off my trike & broke 4 ribs which segued into a complete demise of the shoulder’s function. He used the robots & enabled my arm to leave my waste & actually work again. His attention to detail every step of the way enabled me to awaken from anesthesia & continue into PT without 1 speck of pain. He had to move some muscle, tendons & other tissue around in a complex procedure. There was no bleeding, infection, abnormal swelling, or loss of sensation. I have had over 30 surgeries & continue to marvel at the ease & perfection of this 1. He is nothing short of incredible both as a surgeon & a delightful person. If possible I would go to him for everything.

I have had the pleasure of being a patient with Dr. Howlett. Dr. Howlett is very attentive to his patients, he takes the time to spend with you during your visit discussing your care and/or concerns. His team is great. Dr. Howlett is very thorough in his patients care. He will answer any/or all of your questions to the best of his ability. He is extremely smart and humble. Always has a smile on his face which helps make his patients be more at ease during their visit. I have had the pleasure of working with him at Ortho RI as well and I have to say he is one of the best doctors that I have worked for, so kind hearted. His team is wonderful and always a pleasure to be around and work with! I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
