Dr. Nathan Noble Jr, DO

My son saw him back in September of 2020. My son’s speech therapist had put in her notes that she suspected Childhood Apraxia of Speech. We drove all the way to Des Moines just to have him look at my son and say “Yep that’s what he has,” without doing any of his own examinations. Have never felt more dismissed by a doctor in my life.

We have seen providers in multiple states and have never had an experience like this. Dr. Noble is exceptional and the way he involved our son and made him feel comfortable was absolutely paramount. They were friends and that just does not happen. He was super friendly, incredibly informative, and just really great to visit with. He asked us questions, valued our feedback, heard our concerns, and obviously really REALLY knows what he is talking about. His shadowing colleague was also wonderful and the nurse was entirely pleasant and prepared. The office staff were friendly and capable as well. The office itself was very clean and well appointed and the room with the giant touchscreen was a huge hit! We are very thankful for our opportunity to connect with Dr. Noble and this facility and are excited for our future :)

Dr. Noble lied to my face about coordinating care with my son's other specialists. His office staff repeatedly has not returned phone calls. They have been disrespectful in their communications. Test results have not been communicated to us in a timely fashion (2 months since the results have been back and still no information). When I voiced my concerns, the office manager did not apologize, but instead said she would refer our family elsewhere for care.
