Dr. Nathan Wilbanks, MD

I am an old patient of Dr Peck's and I have wanted to like Dr. Wilbanks as the one who bought his practice. But Dr. Wilbanks had an assistant do his refraction (eye prescription) check and then didn't even check their work but billed for that part of the visit as a separate item from his 'comprehensive' eye exam under his own name. And then it was rejected as inappropriate, he refused to bill the correct Regence VSP insurance for this item. I've met my deductible and was told by Regence that I should owe nothing, but I will need to pay him for the sake of my credit record, because his practice refuses to do the decent thing of billing the right eye insurance when they supposedly accept Regence plans. And they didn't even tell me that I would have to pay out of pocket for this part of the exam that he had his assistant do and that he didn't even check and that they refuse to bill correctly for. I get that insurance stinks but how I'm treated matters and this is wrong.

Cataract surgery on both eyes and all follow up appointments with Nathan Wilbanks MD and Timothy Mock MD, who had a team approach to make sure they agreed on the optimum results for me. They patiently and thoroughly explained what to expect. For the surgeries, I experienced a caring, professional staff which helped to calm me down – it was like 10 supportive nurturing mothers looking after me. The follow-up appointments also had well-trained professionals who did an excellent job. I did not have long wait times like another reviewer did but it was quite punctual. Highly recommended!

I was scheduled quickly for an in-person appointment. The staff was friendly, polite, and competent. Dr. Wilbanks was thorough, calm, and not rushed. He spoke in terms that I could understand. Very patient with me.

Both spouse and myself have been with Eye Assoc for decades, and all staff are excellent. Dr Wilbanks is always polite, gives detailed but easily understood explanations and always tracks your progress and what to expect.

The assistants are efficient and friendly. As I had no problems, my exam with the doctor was not long. He was thorough and not rushed.

He diagnosed the beginning of wet macular degeneration in one of my eyes and I was able to see a retina specialist (at another clinic) the next day for treatment. Was so thankful for his training to spot it AND let the other clinic know so quickly. Tech and front desk staff were so personable,too.

My exam at Eye Associates NW went smoothly where I had no wait to begin the process. The staff were very efficient and communicative about my questions. The good doctor clearly explained his observations and made recommendations to continue my having good eye health which was most appreciative for my 79 yr old eyes.
