Belly Hernia
I had a flat stomach prior to getting several Colonoscopies with Dr Ramani (family history of colon cancer). Now I have a bulging hernia and will probably need surgical removal (could be fatal if ruptures). I no longer have insurance so I'm checking options.

Dr. Ramani is a very personable man however when considering the dysfunctional staff and support team currently working with him I can not recommend this office. They botched an appointment by stapling Ramanis card overtop of the actual procedure scheduled date with another date written on the card without an explanation which I assumed was the actual procedure date . When they called and told me it was the next day I was not only surprised but verbally counseled that I should have read it and that I might be charged $50 dollars for a missed appointment . It was still 24 hours prior to the procedure. For me that was enough to go elsewhere after 30 years with this office. . Such disrespect, rudeness and incompetency and threats of charges for their failures is a travesty. Too much competition out there to have to deal these jerks

Be prepared to have the receptionist staff completely mess up your schedule and blame you for it.

Dr. Ramani has been an excellent doctor for many, many years for my wife and me! He gets busy like any doctor who cares for his patients and yes, unfortunately we have to have patience ourselves to see him on occasion! He has been a real blessing for us and has directed our treatments in an excellent manner! Those who have experienced life threatening medical issues and of which Dr. Ramani guided appropriate life saving treatment, know that he is highly deserving of a 5 star review!!! Thank you Dr. Ramani! You are the best in our books!!!

Dr. Ramani and staff have been great. I met with his physician Assistant twice and he was thorough, caring and patient in explaining the future course of treatment. He made me feel at ease following my colonoscopy, and he gave me a plan to follow to correct my situation.

I waited an hour in an empty waiting room for my 1st consult. As I was waiting I saw Dr Ramani wondering down the hall. I requested a copy of my colonoscopy numerous times and the doctors I was requesting it for NEVER received the report. I would call his office and was told the results were sent but 3 different doctors never received it.

The office is extremely dysfunctional. It takes forever to get an appointment, they're always running late, etc. Once I was scheduled to have a test, they called me 3 days before to reschedule because the machine was broken & told me the next available time was six weeks later. I hate treating staff badly but I had to argue in this situation. They eventually squeezed me in & the only person trained in the machine overslept that day. I'm currently waiting to see the doctor for a 1:50..it's 3:10.
