Dr. Nauman Zaffar, MD

I ignored the Google reviews & made him my PCP(biggest mistake). This Dr. doesn't even know what codes to send for testing. All I wanted was an annual blood work & he sent me to do tests that were not even required & kept scheduling me for follow-up tests. Insurance was supposed to cover my annual blood work but because the Dr sent some unnecessary codes, I was charged for all these tests, when asked Dr. office, Michelle from the front desk said I never came in for the annual.HOW CAN THEY MAKE THE DECISION WHAT I CAME FOR?This had been a pattern where he called me every month charged me & sent me for another test. The visits are less than 5 mins & The day you catch this scheme and confront them, the front desk is trained to say' Nothing we can do about it' and hang up the phone.This is the sketchiest DR service I have come across. If you want to be diagnosed properly, not be given unwanted pills and tests, and be scared by a Dr to do more tests please find yourself a real Dr.

Dr. Zaffar is good, as well as his staff. An excellent PCP for elderly family members, he explains everything and is thorough. He reviews medical reports with full attention and doesn't just make referrals like most PCPs do. He cares for patients what a family doctor really means...

I have been going to Dr. Zaffar for 7 years. When I moved to Florida I moved for my health and had to find a doctor I took all my files in and those poor girls had to enter them all in my file. He is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. That is something you don't find much of anymore. If he can't fix you he will send you on to a specialist that can. And he is not in that group of doctors that has a quota how many patients are sent to specialist today. He works for himself so when he refers you it's for your own well being. When I have an appointment I never have to wait never which is amazing. His waiting room is always busy. He sees alot of patients that are staying close by on their vacations and have gotten sick. I am truly blessed I found Dr. When I did. I moved and still drive an hour to see him...If you need a good doctor give him a try you won't be let down..

I can easily say that Dr. Zaffar is one of the best doctors in the town. He is very intelligent and knows all the insights of the medical field which are useful for in-depth diagnosis and treatment.

DR. Zaffar educated me on safety issues with stopping a med instead of weaning off a med I am taking. I was not aware of this info and he educated me. He always has new info for me of my condition, or a medication, labs, etc. He is very friendly and very professional.

My mother is 80 and we're new to the area. Dr. Z is said to have experience with elder care and is near our house, so we tried him out. During my mom's entire visit, he had his back to her, across the room, typing on his computer. That is not an okay way to treat a patient, and certainly doesn't foster a sense of attention and trust! She got the prescription that she needed from him, one that she had been on for some time with her previous doctor, but he gave her no refills. Now, she's being told that she has to have another visit just to get the prescription renewed -- the one that was already in place. This sounds an awful lot like the office just wants to collect repeated visit fees! Was going to give them 2 stars... BUT THEN The doctor confronted my mother during her visit about the review I had left, asking her if I was her son! Unthinkable, unethical, and highly unprofessional! I have now lowered my review to 1 star, and we are DEFINITELY finding a new doctor for my mom!

If I could give 0 ZERO stars I would. My dad warned me not to attend a clinic in a Publix parking lot but I did not listen. I walk in 30 Minutes early Did not see the Lazy 400 pound doctor until 1 hour after my scheduled appointemnt time. First a nurse take you in for the Covid19 test then they have you wait in a room. 1st and only thing the doctor did was start yelling at me "How much are you taking for your prescription" Which I told him but he just yelled it 4 more times, then he called a doctor to get permission for a new prescrition and said he was gonna give me some test. The same test Quest Diagnostic test he gives to every patient that walks thru that building, He then left and went to his office while i waited for the front office staff to actual give the prescirtion which they said they were doing electronicly. He also said I was getting a reffereal to a neurologist. I drove all the way to the pharmacy just for them to tell me they have no prescrition her

Dr Z is a Great Doctor. I had great rapport with him. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and nice. My problem is with the reception. I changed insurance plans and I was trying to explain the problem with her and she would not listen. She ended up yelling at me and was very nasty. A short while she called me back and said I was right. She never apologized and got nasty and yelled again. I would love to continue to see Dr. Z but I can’t deal with the receptionist.
