Dr. Naveen Bilgi, MD

Dr Bilgi was caring and able to explain some of the complicated procedures I was having done. I was extremely happy with his handling of my medical issues. He was assigned to me when I arrived at St Mary’s in Milwaukee and thankful for his expertise.

I met Dr. Bilgi during my mother’s month long hospital “vacation” at Columbia/St. Mary’s in Milwaukee. I have met a LOT of doctors in my 5 decades on this earth. Dr. Bilgi is the MOST compassionate, empathetic, kind, caring, straightforward, tell-it-like-it-is doctor I’ve ever met. He is the kind of doctor that I wish everyone could have; maybe he could clone himself or better yet teach and model how to “be” a great all-around physician. He has a very calming presence; so much so that he can deliver Really Bad News (as in “Your mother is not going to make it…) and somehow you (well, me) feel reassured that Things Are Going To Be OK. He doesn’t use canned terms like “Loved One” or “Sorry for your loss.” He instead speaks genuinely, from his heart. If you have the privilege of being healed by Dr. Bilgi, consider yourself blessed.
