Horrible experience, horrible person
Dr. Kavesh is the rudest, most arrogant, impatient, self-important doctor I've ever had the displeasure to meet. He treated our father, who is elderly, and our family who was there to support him at his appointment like second class citizens. No one is allowed to do anything but nod and agree... and don't DARE ask a question about the treatment plan. If you want a kind, caring doctor, literally go anywhere else. And I want to be extremely clear: I'm not looking to make a new friend at a doctor's visit. Doctors who are competent, as I assume Dr. Kavesh to be, can struggle with bedside manner and that sometimes just comes with the territory. This is something far, far beyond that. This is a uniquely belligerent, difficult and argumentative person and I will move heaven and earth to make sure no one I care about makes the mistake of visiting Dr. Kavesh for ANY reason.

Afib surgery
I was well taken care of from beginning to end. I had an ablation done for atrial fibrillation. When I was wheeled into surgery he was already waiting smiling and happy. The whole staff was jovial but very professional. The technology is beyond amazing as I have done research on that since I have gotten home. Post surgery I feel great I’m only one week out. He was pleasant and he is direct. I could really tell his entire staff and the people who worked with him genuinely and greatly respected him. What else would you want?

Pleasant, direct - Accomplished surgeon!
Dr. Kavesh is very very good at what he does...heart surgery! He does talk directly & to the point, with no nonsense in his conversations, and definitely inspired confidence for my unexpected heart procedure. Afterward he took a bit more time, was still pleasant, but to the point. No hand-holding, here - LOL. Perfect for me! Thank you, Dr. Kavesh (& staff).

Rude!
My mom and I went with my dad to his appointment. Dr Kavesh It was very nice when he came into the room. He started asking my dad questions and My dad wasn't really answering his questions correctly as my dad is hard of hearing. The doctor just became rude. He treated my dad like he was dumb. My dad is just hard of hearing. He is not dumb. He's 80 years old, he still runs a business and he still rides his motorcycle. I would never recommend him and my parents would definitely never go back to see him again.

I have to say I was a little perturbed that the rate response wasn’t turned on. Had me huffing and puffing when doing anything that required an elevated heart rate.

In N.C. we were fortunate to have Dr. Stack and were concerned when moved to Florida that we would not find as good or better. At first we did not. But since obtaining Dr. Kavesh services, he has more than shown himself to be in the 'as good or better'. Very pleased with his skills and manner. He doesn't beat around bush or mince words, tells you like 'it is' - thorough, precise, pleasant (enough, doesn't 'overdo it')-skilled - Very pleased with him. Jim(RET/DAV/USA) and Karen Barrett

I found Dr. Kavesh to be soft-spoken, courteous and informative. He reviewed my records WITH me, showed me what he was seeing, and explained things every step of the way. As a long time heart patient, I felt very comfortable as I left my first meeting with him. We had a clear path of treatment with a step-by-step progression clearly mapped out. Very good.

Dr. Kavesh is an outstanding physician. His quiet manner and serious affect may be a problem for some people, but once he sees you a few times he warms up and is really quite funny and dear. Whatever you may think about personality, let's just say that there is no one better than him at what he does in the entire southeast US. I feel fortunate to have him on my team. I worked for years for the cardiologists at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Trust me, he's fantastic at this.
