Arrogant and Dismissive
He was very arrogant and dismissive. Spent no time having me do any movement just scanned an MRI and prescribed PT. Zero professionalism.

My sisters visit
Very arrogant and dismissive attitude. Very displeased with his overall attitude. I love Quarry Lake. I had a knee surgery here, and was so pleased with the care I received from the initial visit to the last. If ever I were in need of a spine doctor or neurologist, it would not be Dr. Naff.

He got me back to living!
I have been with D.Naff since 2021, due to a horrific spinal injury in 2000. He along with the guidance of the Lord, got me back in 31/2 in heels, when I thought I’d end up in a wheelchair. He literally saved my life and livelihood. With 3 extremely bulging discs, my ability to walk became in question, he got me back to living and I am forever grateful! The one thing about him that I truly love is, he won’t cut you if he doesn’t have to, he will send you to physical therapy or pain management; surgery is not his first go to if unnecessary. I would definitely recommend him, I always say; “my spine belongs to him”!

Very dismissive and unprofessional when talking to me about my problems. I’d ask why he thinks I’m in so much pain and get the response “I don’t know but it’s not (the reason I presented). Go see someone else if you don’t like what I am saying.” Never fully answering any of my questions or explaining what really was going on with me. Barely even listened to my concerns.

He was arrogant and unprofessional. He called one of my doctor’s an a**hole. He also made me beg for information on my surgery that HE did. Information that he easily had access to. After begging and pleading, his PA, eventually supplied me with the information.

I agree with others that he is both arrogant and untrustworthy. Did not have a good impression of him prior to surgery and certainly not following. Failed to mention a stroke that occurred during my father’s brain tumor surgery. Instead told my family that “sometimes patients wake up from surgery like this.” My dad walked into surgery with minor deficits and immediately following he was unable to walk, see clearly, swallow solid food, speak clearly ever again. Perhaps an unavoidable side effect, but his failure to reveal this to my family makes him look guilty. In addition, he failed to mention a mistake by his colleague in the ER resulting in a late diagnosis and worse prognosis for my dad. I would not recommend him. Only knew about his dishonesty from reviewing my dad’s entire medical record following his passing.

My NPH surgery has resulted in my returning to a normal life thanks to Dr. Naffs outstanding surgical technique. I am forever indebted to his ability and excellent surgical expertise! I recognize that it was an entire team that participated in the Surgical procedure but he was the outstanding leader of the team. As a result I have returned to a Quality of life that was as though I had never had any issues/symptoms. I am very grateful to him! Thank you Dr. Naff.

I suffered with leg and back pain from compression fractures and disc problems. Dr. Naff performed outpatient surgery in October. Immediately, I noticed the pain had stopped. Now 3 months later, I am fine and pain free. I think Dr. Naff is wonderful. His staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The care I have received has been exceptional from making the first appointment to the last visit today. I cannot recommend Dr. Naff highly enough!

Just wanted to say that I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Naff. He performed my neck surgery 3 yrs ago(degenerate disc with pressure on my spine) without even leaving a scar. I found him to be a very likeable and compassionate man not just a great doctor. I was very surprised just now reading an awful review. It seems the person who wrote the review had a terrible time, endured quite a bit of pain and developed an infection. That must have been a horrible ordeal.... Yet not necessarily the doctor's fault. That said...it also sounded like the doctor did what he could and did as the patient asked. It is because of this terrible review that I feel compelled to tell everybody that I personally had a great experience, a very effective surgery and consider the doctor to be the best! I actually always tell my friends and anybody I know to go to him with any neck issues.

I had a ruptured disk pushing against my spinal cord and could not walk without great pain. After fooling around with orthopedic Drs that did nothing I found out about Dr Naff. He saw me within a few days, explained everything to me and I was in surgery within the week. I woke up from surgery pain free. He always spent time with me when I saw him. I don't understand the complaints against him on these reviews. He saved my life as far as I'm concerned.

Dr. Naff, my hero. I have never in my life had a better experience with doctor folk. I’ve been dealing with spinal issues since 2005 both civilian and military and never have I had such an exchange he and his entire staff treated me better than ever before they even went above and beyond having to deal with the va and yet never complained such a professional and courteous bunch of people who definitely care about their patients. And it was definitely reflected in the level of care I received!!!!

I went to Dr. Naff for a complicated brain surgery . Everything went very well. In the hospital I had many questions for Dr. Naff and he seemed in such a hurry and told me a nurse would give me the answers to my questions. Not !!! In his office , the same thing. Always in a hurry and saw me for 5 min. ! Again , had some questions that I wrote down about things getting worse and it didn't seem to faze him. Wrote on my paper everything is well ! Looking into another doctor who can help me,

When I saw Dr. Naff, he kept me waiting for over an hour. When he finally entered the room, there was no apology for keeping us waiting. He never looked at me. He sat down near me, with his back facing me to look at my X-rays. He then scooted over with his back still facing me to his desk. He didn't get up and go around to his desk chair, but sat on the wrong side with his back to me. He said he didn't see anything on my X-rays, gave me a slip of paper for physical therapy and sent me on my way!

I was sent by workmans Comp for this appt and this was the first shock. 2nd spent 10 mins with me after waiting over 30min. In his report he left out many of my issues, my pain level, and my continued symptoms. Said things that were upsetting but most of all that my injury had nothing to do with my work accident. What is sad is there are other workman comp Drs that said it was related. So disappointed in this Dr. Beware workmans comp cases what you say to him, he will sell his soul.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Naff?
My experience was very disappointing. I expected more from a doctor with such outstanding credentials. After sitting in his office( not waiting room but his actual office) waiting for an hour, he then came in and spent no more than 5 minutes with me and never even went over the results of my MRI. He stated I see something there, but don't know what it is. I will never go back.

I had an incident where I was suddenly struck with sciatic pain. It was terrible. I went to 4 other doctors before I saw Dr. Naff, who was highly recommended to me by a coworker. Dr. Naff recommended surgery right away and I was able to schedule it at Sainai 5 days later. A disk in my lower back had slipped and was constricting the nerve. He fully explained my situation and my limited options. The operation was a success. I fully recommend Dr. Naff

My primary care dr. Sent me to Dr. Naff after experiencing back pain and numbness down my leg for 2 months. From the first visit, I was very impressed with his kindness and professional matter. Two weeks later, I had surgery. Dr. Naff and his office staff and the staff at Sinai were absolutely wonderful. All were kind, caring, and very empathetic as I was extremely nervous. I could not say enough good things about them and would highly recommend him.
