A wonderful doc-a credit to his profession.
He clearly knows his stuff - and he is a courteous, kind man as well. He runs a great practice.

Avoid Dr Schamberg at all cost! His front desk staff are very lovely both in person and on the phone, so this review is no reflection of them. Very kind and efficient. His MA is rude and inaccurate, asks “has anything changed” when it is your first visit… here you go for a thorough med rec. Dr Schamberg is so rude and judgmental. He clearly doesnt listen. He just made his impression of me even before meeting me. Not only is he rude and judgmental within his specialty, he feels comfortable enough to take the liberty to question my medical history that is even completely irrelevant to my visit. He confidently tells me and then rudely challenges me on other parts of my medical history he knows nothing about. He should stick to what he knows; maybe GI procedures?? Because bedside manners are clearly not his forte. Worst doctor i have ever seen.

I do not recommend this doctor. As others have mentioned, awful bedside manner, lacking in compassion, and will speak to you in a condescending manner. He spoke to us about our family member as if he were a veterinarian speaking about a dog. Will likely misdiagnose you and schedule you for unnecessary procedures or surgeries. Always get a second opinion if you consult this doctor.

Absolutely awful experience with this physician. Condescending, uncaring, short, curt and most importantly, provided seriously subpar "care." Not helpful in any conceivable way. My entire family has been with this practice for decades and never once has any of the many of us ever had a negative experience with anyone here - until now. Horrible, horrible, horrible encounter with this doctor. This man asked not one question, offered not one iota of support and finally, I terminated the appointment myself (something I've never done in my life). Really just an overall disrespectful human being. He should feel shame and I'm certain that he does not.

Follows up even after hours. Listens and adjusts to my preferences. As an aside, nice sense of humor. Staff is also excellent!

I was beyond impressed with my experience with Dr. S and the office. I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind he was and how fast he was at getting back to me! A lot of doctors don’t realize how important it is to have the great impact of being a clinician but also a communicator. The first point of contact is crucial! My appointment with Dr Schamberg was knowledgeable and competent. GI issues can be very complex. Good doctors are hard to find. Find this one.
