Dr. Neda Hashemi, MD

Worst experience of my life. The office staff is horrible and very unprofessional. The doctor we rarely saw her, but she was ok. However, now that I have seen better offices and OBGYN’s I know that their services were extremely subpar to say the least. I don’t understand how a doctor office can be so rude and unprofessional not only with the front desk, managers, but also the nurses. It’s unheard of. Guess it shows that birds of a feather flock together.

Complete waste of my time. My appointment was canceled with zero notice or explanation. There’s no excuse for this kind of incompetence—there should’ve been someone else to take over. It’s clear this office doesn’t care about its patients. Don’t waste your time here like I did.

Although we had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Neda Hashemi, a nurse substituted for her, and our insurance did not cover the nurse's services. This happened again during our next appointment, and we were overcharged because the nurse was not covered by our insurance. Despite providing my insurance ID card before scheduling the appointment, the office failed to check if the nurse's services were covered. When we informed them that our insurance covered Dr. Hashemi and her office, they did not take responsibility for processing the insurance claim under Dr. Hashemi or her office. Instead, they insisted that the claim had to be under the nurse's name. We reiterated that we had come to see Dr. Hashemi, not the nurse, and that our insurance should cover her services. It is not a health service office; it is a firm that is only interested in making money.

I have been to many OBGYNs, but Dr. Hashemi is the BEST! Aside from being an expert in her field, she’s professional, compassionate, caring, humble, and passionate about helping others. Her patients’ safety and well-being always come first. That’s the reason why she’s so sought after and highly recommended. As for her office staff, she has multiple locations, and if you experience any issue with her staff, it’s definitely not a reflection on the her. I wish there were ten stars because she deserves it!

Terrible bedside manner, unprofessional staff, rude and inexperienced ultrasound staff

I have been going to this OB for a very very long time - 15 years. To call in and be told no appointments are available for 2+ months out because you're back to taking new patients is unreasonable. There is no preference for existing/long-term patients. Really absurd.

Dr. Neda Hashemi deliver my 2nd baby and it was a great experience…..She is very nice and humble….. Dr.Samar Merriman deliver my 1st baby & she is also very nice, sweet & supportive during my labour. Thank you both the doctors & there nurses.

I recently moved to the DE metro area and Dr. Neda Hashemi came highly recommended. Now I can see why! She spent the time to answer all of our questions, provided information we didn't know to even ask, she made finding availability a priority to meet a time pressing need and had the most supportive bedside manner. Along with Dr. Hashemi, her staff is equally friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgable. She is well worth the drive to the Reston and Centerville location. I could not be more appreciative for finding an OBGYN of her caliber.

The whole team in this office is awesome!!

They messed up my appointment scheduling and they couldn't accommodate a new appointment to work with my insurance after they caused the problem.

Such an awful doctor and staff! They were not in contract with my insurance at the time of my appointment, when I called them to make appointment they told me she will be back in the network in a month that is why I made my appointment then. After issuing the bill they did not accept that they have done a mistake. Their staff is awful and the doctor is not patient enough to explain you things. I would give zero stars to her if I could.

Their office is such a mess,they never try to call you and let you about changes,don't waste your time and money

I gave birth two years ago. I spent last year in therapy, diagnosed with PTSD after my experience with Dr. Hashemi and her team. I had so much to say all these years, but I think this would be enough. I'm grateful to God for both of us being alive and relatively healthy. If you are there for religious reasons, make sure you check the medicine that is being prescribed, do you mind gelatin pills? Dr. Hashemi is a good surgeon though and Fair Oaks hospital and nurses were great and very supportive

Nice Dr.Hashemi she is really great full person I will always recommend she is best Dr. for OBGY also family Dr. I like her so much. Also she delivered my son.

Dr. Hashemi is really great, she takes the time to talk to and get to know her patient. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Her staff are very nice and responsive. I had an excellent experience during my visit and highly recommend her.

So disappointed just a waste of money, she don't focus on what I need she just let me try other medicines. I don't think she checks the medicine ingredients or generic before she prescribed.

Neda Hashemi was my OBGYN for first pregnany. She never provided any personal attention. She always appeared too busy to ask questions. She was not available during delivery. She provided no post partum support. In fact, a day after delivery, she came in the NICU(my baby had to be hospitalized for a week), and said- "I need to write discharge orders for you. Did you have a vaginal or C-section?" That is the level of interest she had. Terrible doctor and midwife Tracy. Please AVOID.

Dr. Hashemi is caring, compassionate and easy to relate to. I trust her 100% and always feel like I'm in incredibly capable, loving and skilled hands. The fact that she has THE busiest practice in the area is an indicator of her exceptional ethics, skill and compassion. I have horrid pregnancies and she's always 100% helpful. Her patient's loyalty speaks for itself. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr Hashemi and her team! Front office and techs are awesome, too! Traci is an angel! -M.Estrada

I trust Dr Hashemi and Traci with my health and all of my healthcare needs. As a woman, trust and care are so important to me. I have been going to this practice for 7 years, have had two babies under their care, and my closest girlfriends also see them. I cannot recommend Traci and Dr Hashemi more. Caring, loving, supportive, responsive, knowledgable all come to mind. The office staff, especially Stephanie and Marlene, are total gems. 10/10 and 5 stars.
