Dr. Patel for 5 months has been unable to get me a simple CPAP mask. I requested one on my first visit & many times after, at least 4 times in person & too many calls. Five times I have been told I would be called to make arrangements. Not one call. Untreated sleep apnea is a life threatening condition. Recent research indicates a very high percentage of night time heart attacks are caused by apnea episodes. As a patient of Dr. Patel I am unable to be treated. My health and life are jeopardized.

This is a dream doctor. We decided to change to a geriatric physician after about 16 years with another doctor because of long waits in the waiting room, unanswered calls, problems with medicine refills, etc. Dr. Patel was a breath of fresh air. Appts are on time, staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Patel does not rush us, but answers questions, explains everything, and is friendly. We feel like someone cares.! As part of the UTHSC, all records can be viewed by all doctors we see.
