I am a patient who was diagnosed with AFIB by a cardiologist in Dr. Hooker's network. He wanted me to get a prescription that Dr. Hooker wrote adjusted by her. However, even though I was a high risk heart patient during the Coronavirus pandemic and the current lab results were already in her system on which she would base the prescription in question, she refused to do this as a telemedicine visit. According to a statement in bold print on the CDC website "The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus." And according to the modern form of the Hippocratic Oath: "I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure." I found Dr. Hooker's cavalier prioritization of her own prerogatives ahead of my safety to be completely unacceptable.

Dr Hooker is a fantastic individual who is extremely knowledgable about her field. She's down to earth and advises you based on your health needs and goals that she accesses with you, as opposed to for you. Very impressed with her overall bedside manner and her willingness to listen.
