Dr. Neena Natt, MD

I saw Dr. Natt for a tumor on my adrenal gland. At the end of our 1st visit, as we were walking out the door, she told me that there’s a 1/3 chance that the tumor is benign, & she said it like it was a good thing. Previously, all MDs had told me that it was likely benign, so I was shocked. I stopped, turned around to face her, and said “wait, so that means I have a 2/3 chance of having cancer!?” I had also previously been told that adrenal cancer is very aggressive & deadly. She said “well, 1/3 from 1 is 2/3, so yeah!” I was stunned and horrified. The next visit I told her I was really bothered, & I had talked to a friend about it extensively. She responded by asking me if we were drinking! I was so shocked at how inhumane & unprofessional she was she was. I can’t believe Mayo Clinic has doctors like her, & furthermore, I believe, she’s the dept. head. She kept insisting, even over messages, that she meant it as a good thing! She’s flippant about aggressive cancer, and this is my life.

I saw Dr. Natt for a second opinion. She was knowledgeable and explained everything very well. She was professional yet personable. It was well worth the six hour drive to see her.

Very competent and kind, explains well, doesn't do unnecessary testing. She takes the time needed for each patient. Involved in research and a frequent conference speaker.
