Rude & Condesending
Dr. Paikh is very rude. She cut me off as I was trying to explain my symptoms and told me I just need to go see a specialist. She needs some classes on bedside manners.

More concerned with billing
October 25th, 2024Myself and my family have been seeing Neha Parikh for several years. I recently had my annual physical in June of 24. This was covered by my insurance. However, recently NW billing contacted me and stated I owed money for a second code (procedure?) from that visit. Apparently, if you discuss your individual meds or, in my case, an inquiry as to needing a 10 year routine colonoscopy during the 10 minutes she spent with me, that this is not part of an annual wellness visit and can be billed as some secondary event. Two things are disturbing: 1) Is discussing my health ,any and or all of it) not part of an annual check up? 2) Should a person not be explained this is a separate and billable part of the conversation BEFORE being charged for it? Seems to me an example of a Healthcare institution more concerned about money than patient wellness. Lost my business due to this

After Losing my doctor of 30 years, I was very reluctant to trust another Doctor. Dr. Parikh immediately made me feel at ease and has taken care of my needs superbly.

Dr Parikh has been my dr for over 7 years now and is hands down the best dr I’ve ever had. My college aged daughter has also been seeing her for 4 years and also appreciates her. I cannot recommend Dr Parikh enough for being what a doctor should be - kind, knowledgeable, honest, caring and helpful. She has always explained things to us in a clear and concise matter, listens to our questions and if she can’t provide an immediate answer, she has found us a specialist or has sent a follow up on MyChart or with a phone call. She has a bright, cheery personality and I appreciate her candor and honesty when talking over medical issues with me or my daughter. For minor issues, I’ve sent her a question on mychart and heard back from her within 24-48 hours. During the initial days of the pandemic, she had teledoc appts with my daughter who was stuck in another state.

She has been my doctor and that of my children, and we have received excellent care, she has always been attentive, friendly, and she has explained every clear and precise procedure to me; does not always say what I want to hear, but his words have logic and meaning, if one day you need a doctor to treat your diseases with professionalism she is the one, if you want to hear falsehoods, look for someone else!

She is rude, and very cutoff. Did not let me speak and was bothered by my questions. Seems to me that the only reason she is there is to get money out of you insurance and/or pocket. Did not check me at all. Went in sick came out sicker!

Switched my antidepressants when unnecessary (I confirmed with a psychiatrist) and it has sent me into a tailspin mentally. Not only that, but once I requested to switch back, she said “no” with no further explanation. It made me feel trapped, and she clearly wasn’t concerned about my health/needs. Also, when switching them, she prescribed a comparatively lower dose. I would say she probably shouldn’t be able to prescribe antidepressants to people. Needless to say, I will be finding a new doc.

Dr. Parikh made me feel so uncomfortable at my appointment with her. She talked to me in a rude and degrading way when I was expressing my symptoms to her. She was not sensitive about my concerns at all and I was in such shock by the way she was talking to me that I did not even feel comfortable letting her know how uncomfortable and low she made me feel. I am going to be changing my doctor now because this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with her.

Dr. Parikh is very kind, helpful, and understanding. I have been called back for my appt early every single time I've been. Although it's a challenge to directly contact her office, the mychart application they use is great to contact her nurses directly and get a response. I'm pleased with her as my doctor.
