Dr. Neil Gordon is Simply The Master
I came here to write the review I wish had been available when I was doing my research and due diligence about which doctor to choose for this important procedure. I consulted with the “big names” in NY and CA, and was prepared to go that route, until my top-ranked dermatologist quite seriously said to me [paraphrase], “I personally think you can wait a couple more years (I’m 50), but if you are insistent on doing this now, there is only one person you should go to: Dr. Neil Gordon. He’s whom I will be going to when I get mine done. I see faces all day long, and his are, without exception, the most natural and the best.”I contacted the office (PattI and her team were wonderful, responsive, attentive and professional), and then I set up an appt to have a virtual consultation with Dr. Gordon. In the interim, I scoured the internet for information about him, of which there was curiously – and not undisturbingly - very little. He doesn’t advertise, doesn’t have a ton of reviews or infor

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! You found the right surgeon!!
I would like to just say that I couldn't be any more pleased and over all satisfied with my entire experience! I knew the outcome would be fabulous being the latter of my friends to have facelifts with DR. Gordon...... but the surprise was how natural my face looks and that I don't look "done" Great experience, Outstanding outcome and More than accommodating staff and nurses!! My only suggestion to people looking..... don't wait like I did out of fear, I didn't have any bruises and barely a headache for my recovery!!

Simply the best
world renowned. Spent time. I was back at work in 11 days as he said I would. Can't find scars. Unlike other reviewers, I am a plastic surgeon. So many reviews are not accurate to the situation or details of the person. I saw reviews about nerve damage, this is temporary numbness. Nobody reposts when numbess goes away. No social media just results. I am wearing them.

My facial proportions are very distorted 2 yrs post op. Surely he knew the substantial downsides of doing my revision, but seriously downplayed or glossed over them, insisting that no one else could help me, a red flag for any patient. I'm stuck w/overstretched, unattractive, misshapen, asymmetrical and pendulous ears, one of which noticeably juts way too far forward. It is hardly something I can "have fun with" - his response when I sought help. Like many other PS's, he can see issues well enough before you invest, and goes blind afterwards. Contrary to what he advised pre op, it appears I probably had insufficient laxity for this to start with, hence the look of stuck-on ears. I simply traded one undesirable result for another. Other damages from my previous surgeries were perhaps 50-60% minimized, but hardly eradicated. Prolonged swelling and puffiness I still suffer with were dismissed as nonexistent. An evasive, defensive, often harsh and arrogant nature would alienate many.

I first met Dr. Gordon 17 years ago. Prior to meeting him, I had two other consultations with other cosmetic surgeons but as soon as I met Dr. Gordon, I knew he would be the only doctor I would trust to work on my face. Seventeen years later, I met with Dr. Gordon again for laser resurfacing. Even though I had a few lines that had developed, it had been 17 years since my deep plane facelift, I felt laser would be all I needed to do a refresh, he agreed. After this last procedure, I can tell you that I cannot imagine going to anyone else but Dr. Gordon, he is amazing, he has an artistic eye, he is a perfectionist, what else could you ask for when looking for the person who will be entrusted with your face? Both times that I have had a procedure done, he has been professional, caring, very informative, he does not rush his meeting with you, he took 90 minutes to explain each procedure and I didn't have many questions because he explained everything so well. Dr. Gordon is the very best!!

Dr Gordon's office manner does not do him or the process justice,. He is an exceptionally capable surgeon, attentive long after the procedure. His team is first-rate, and the quality and care given at his Wilton facility beyond expectation.

Was recommended by a prior patient, found it odd that I couldn't find any advertising and then I learned that Dr. Gordon's practice is patient referral only! So I can now say I understand why, I do not come from money and saved every penny to have surgery and I never felt like I was not part of "the elite group!" It was a genuine experience from the first person I spoke to that made my initial consultation to the follow up visits afterwards. Kudos to not only Dr. Gordon but the entire staff I dealt with was incredible.

my experience with Dr. Gordon was horrific. He is pompous and a narcissist and talks about how he is the best in his field at every visit. He vastly underplayed how much pain I would be in after the surgery and straight out lied about the recovery. The results are lopsided and when I went back to him he told me it was my fault. Horrible , horrible man!

Three years after having a facelift and brow lift by Dr. Gordon, I am in the middle about my opinion. At first, I looked perfect and was nothing but thrilled. I still am happy with my neck, jawline and cheek bones. I’m not happy with some lines alongside my mouth and with lasting partial numbness near my ears and on my scalp. While annoying, I’m used to it and can live with it since I know it’s just a residual feeling and everything works fine. Like another reviewer, I am most upset about my hair. Something like glue was used and then yanked out by nurse at the facility. My hair, sadly, is noticeably thinner and I long for my old head of hair. Several friends who went to this doctor have similar hair issues. All in all, I like the way I look but these lingering issues are less than perfect. It is what it is and I would not go back and complain based on what others have said. Happy to look younger and that these issues aren’t truly serious, yet they are upsetting.

I used Dr. Gordon for a facelift exactly 2 years ago. I continue to have severe nerve damage, and a droopy right lid. Whereas I had full healthy head of hair, the goop he put in my scalp during surgery, ripped out 1/4 of my hair by the roots! I realize it is never coming back! Horrid results...I wish I had engaged a competent surgeon. I’m paying the price for not heeding my gut instincts. I also need corrective surgery to fix my droopy right eye lid. Sad!

Hoorah for Dr. Gordon. He fixed a facelift I had with a very well known doctor in NYC only a couple of years before. I looked pulled and saggy at the same time. Thank goodness Dr . Gordon was able to fix everything! What a brilliant surgeon! I can’t say enough about him and the care I received at his beautiful facility in Wilton. Five stars at least!
