I see review comments that say he is not empathetic and is rude. Not the case at all. He is professional and must ask pointed questions. If you have something to hide he will confront you. He is doing his job! Psy meds are not candy to be handed out willy nilly. Be honest and respectful not only with Dr Talon, but with everyone. Life will treat you better.

I absolutely love Dr Talon!! I feel so comfortable talking to him and he has helped me through so much by listening and understanding all my questions and concerns. He is funny but very empathetic at the same time. My medications he put me on are working well and for once I finally feel I’m on the road to recovery. I’m so grateful to have found him.

Grateful for Dr. Talon
Telehealth
I spent many years suffering with depression, anxiety, and poor focus; struggling with figuring out the right meds, and generally not feeling heard or seen by my previous medication management prescribers. I decided to search for an actual psychiatrist and the difference has been day and night. Dr. Talon listened to my concerns, asked the right questions and properly diagnosed me with a condition I didn’t know I had until I was 42 years old. The change in medications, and approach to my therapeutic needs has greatly changed my life trajectory for the better. I’m more organized, motivated, disciplined and regimented in my everyday life now, as I finally feel this weight of depression lifting from me. I’m able to participate in my life now. As patients, we have a responsibility to prepare ourselves to communicate our issues properly with the doctor, and have the patience to understand that a successful outcome or therapy doesn’t just happen overnight.

Smart kid.
Telehealth
He made me wait half an hour. He filled out my brothers name instead of mine. He didn’t know we had an appointment even. He tried to act like he knew what was going on. Never talking to this kid again.

NEGATIVE 1 RATING
this man was horrible rude and disrespectful. My first and only appointment with him was virtual. and he was demanding that I look into my camera at him, but he could clearly see and hear me. I told him I did not feel comfortable. at this point we are going back and forth about why i would not look into the camera and he disconnected the appointment.

I refuse to see Dr. Talon after one Zoom visit. He is rude, judgmental, and accusatory. He didn't listen to my input and changed my medications, which were working.

I post this in hopes of sparing another person the pain and trauma that was experienced during and after one visit with Dr. Neil. This man showed no empathy, kindness or listening skills. He was demeaning, accusatory, contentious, and dismissive toward a meek person who struggles with social anxiety. It seemed his goal from the beginning of the appointment to not seek understanding but to interrogate and prove wrong. This doctor was chosen because of his availability but I honestly would wait a year to see any other doctor besides this man. I wish I had seen the other negative reviews beforehand; there are some positive reviews but I'm not sure they are legitimate, especially the one posted in his name. Who does that?

I saw Dr. Talon for a few months, never establishing a good rapport with him.. I have an excellent therapist and only saw him for medication. Still I never felt comfortable opening up to him. Sometimes his remarks to me were flippant or sarcastic in nature. I tolerated his behavior until I received a bill that I believe is not warranted. I am certain that he billed my insurance company well for his "services". I would NEVER recommend him to anyone, ever!

Arrogant. Condescending. Forgetful. Appears to be more concerned with getting paid than to providing encouragement and support.

I've been a patient of his for years, and have recommended him to multiple friends and family members seeking care. I spent a few years living out of state, but would still see him when I came home. He's got the perfect blend of personal and professionalism, and genuinely cares about you. Anyone with negative remarks is probably a drug addict he wouldn't write a script for, and if that's the kind of doctor you're looking for steer clear!
