Dr Hathiary would get a -1 star if available!
Dr Hathiary is awful! She was supposed to be in charge of my husband's care at a Skilled Nursing & Rehab facility. He was there temporarily for rehab after a surgery. Dr Hathiary made herself scarce. She did not return phone calls, she would not communicate, she was literally unresponsive to his needs & our requests. So much so that we initiated a request to get him transferred to another facility. His health was declining; he was not thriving. It required her to make a 'peer to peer' (Dr to Dr) Insurance phone call to explain why he should go to another facility. She would not do that. It caused a delay with our insurance company's approval to move him to a better facility. We got him moved & out from under her care. He's well now.

Doctor Internal Medicine
She was absolutely terrible, walked 1 foot in my husbands hospital MUMBLED something not understandable and turned and walked out. I couldn't even catch her for an explanation!! His condition was a serious one. Never use this Doctor, she was at Lees Summit Hospital on 50 Hwy. I think she was the hospital doctor that day? Didn't even consult with cardiovascular doctor what 2 prescriptions she put him on. Highly recommend stay away from her.

Excellent Care
Provided outstanding care to my mother in her final illness at her Independent Living facility. Checked on her regularly, more frequently than I expected. Fully explained her condition and alternatives available. Made sensible recommendations. Listened fully and answered all questions.

As other patients stated, her primary objective seems to be “clearing the bed” for the next dollar. Her bedside manner is abrupt, she doesn’t seem to have reviewed all records nor wants to listen, and writes discharge papers before stability is reached. Terrible experience and a very poor reflection on Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Extremely rude. Spent less than 5 minutes at bedside. Kept sending her incompetent resident. Would not listen to my problem or concerns. I would not let this woman care for my dog. Hands down the worst care I have ever received at LSMC. Because of her, I may never go back.

Dr. Hathiary totally contradicted my neurologist's diagnosis in the span of a couple hours at Overland Park Regional hospital. His diagnosis? A rare form of migraine . Her diagnosis? "You're taking too many meds. Get off as many as you can right away." Really?! I am on those meds for very good reasons, prescribed by specialists for serious conditions that had nothing to do with the current diagnosis in the hospital. She didn't want to prescribe the med that the neurologist on shift wanted. She said she didn't think I needed it, because "It's just one more med added...that is not good." Terrible doctor.

I agree with the other poor ratings. She is rude and if you question her, transfers the patient to another floor so she doesn’t have to care for them anymore. Come on Overland Park Regional, you can surely find a doctor better than this!

Found Dr. Hathiary to be excellent. When my dad was in the hospital she spent time with us in explaining in detail his health issues and when he was finally discharged from the hospital she went over his recovery plan with me and my mom in detail. She never appeared to be rushed and her calm demenour was a blessing to us while we were under so much stress. God bless her.

Ms. Hathiary (should not be a doctor) did not review lab results, imaging or notes from other doctors. She discharged me with all my symptoms still remaining. She was argumentative and rude when I asked to speak to another doctor. She said she would prescribe an antibiotic and "hopefully it'll resolve."I went to KU, they diagnosed me properly and spent 1.5 months treating me. If I had let her be the final word, I would be dead.

Dr. Hathiary was rude and inattentive to my needs. She was in my room 5 minutes & did NOT take my illness seriously! I feel I was discriminated against as she put in my file it looked as though I was drug seeking. I have a heart condition, just got over pneumonia which I was hospitalized for, then had bronchitis. I was released the next day & had to go to another ER to get the proper medication. I wouldn’t let her treat my dog. & FYI I’ve NEVER done drugs my entire life.

If Dr. Hathiary was the last doctor on earth, I still wouldn’t see her. Her lack of listening, patient care and an overall incompetent doctor I was discharged from OP Regional Hospital without reasoning after 3 days. After discharge, I went to another hospital and got the care I needed. It took the doctors a couple hours to see my medical problem that led to an operation that was needed. Too much to say about Hithiary. I am concerned for any patient that is in her hands. I wouldn’t recommend...
