Rude
I needed to see a face with the name. Very rude Doctor sending me back home to come back later after I was at the appointment ontime. Talking about arrongance. That is not professional at all! I did not ask for this Doctor in the first place just a Doctor to treat my symptoms. Should not waste patient's time!!

Knowledgeable but condescending
Dr Gomez knows about the CPAP machines, but was very aggressive in recommending that my husband who is in an assisted living facility use a CPAP machine while he is dozing off or taking brief naps during the day. He was very defensive and offensive. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he shouldn't take it out on a patient. One has to take a patient as they find him and provide the best advice realizing that it may not always be feasible. He ended with a I don't want to see you. No wonder he has such poor evaluations.

Competent and personable
I am a new patient and Dr Gomez listened to me and ordered appropriate tests. When one finding was questionable he discussed it with me and ordered the nest test to narrow down the findings. All good medicine. All of the staff were pleasant.

This was my second appointment with Dr Gomez. I had seen him a year ago for sleep apnea. When I went in there he wanted to know if I had stop smoking I said no and please do not lecture me as I was billed for the lecture the last time. He said oh but you can spend the money on cigarettes. What are you here for? I said I did not know he had scheduled me an appointment. He closed my file said follow me I am not wasting my time with you and escorted me out of his office.
