Dr. Nelson Gwinn III, MD

Dr. Gwinn is the best of cardiologist. a caring doctor and he gets to really know his patients and listens to them. Hes right now for the second time pulling me thru another spell with my heart. Had a stint couple weeks ago and my heart med didnt agree with me and he knew right when I explained my episodes what caused them. I on the 2nd day since I've seen him for my follow up from having the stint. I already feel so much better. If he specialized in all medical positions he would be the only Dr. I would ever see. And he makes you feel like wow heres someone that really cares for his patients. Thanks Dr. Gwinn. And if you want to feel better and more at ease of ruling out stuff or getting the answers you need on what's happening to you hey one simple answer to calm your worries and that's to pick that phone up and call Dr. Gwinn.

Dr. Gwinn became my husband's cardiologist a few years ago and he loves him. I have met him and he is a wonderful man and doctor. He seems to be truly a man of God. The entire office staff seem to follow in his foot steps. He treats his patients and the patient's family as if they were a part of his family. God needs more doctor's as well as people like Dr. Gwinn. Anyone needing a great cardiologist, Please try Dr. Gwinn. I don't think you will be disappointed in the least. Dr Gwinns attitude and countenance is a healer.. I've know him for 17 yrs. He been my cardiologist for 13 of those years.words cannot explain. He is the best..He cares.

It only took one visit with Dr. Guinn to know I made a good decision to drive 75 miles to his office. He changed the dosage of my medication my previous doctor had given me and added one other medication. That made all the difference in the world. I began to feel better almost immediately. Dr. Gwinn makes you feel at ease right away. He's knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Gwinn.

Never go this practice. My wife went there to get a stress test. They are supposed to call the Insurance company and ask what is covered, but never did. She ended up with a $300.00 copay. We are both on fixed incomes and can't afford that much of a copayment so we have to do payments. This Dr. Gwinn sent the bill directly to a lawyer for collection of the copay plus late payments. These people are cold hearted thieves disguised in medical attire.

He left me with more questions than answers, told me I had a weak heart or a weak heart beat,he didn't explain after he said that,told me to come back in 2 months.Dont tell your patient he has a weak heart and not explain what your talking about.Now I'm gonna worry for 2 months until I see him again.Thanks for nothing,I'm already looking for another Heart Doctor.Donald Worrell.

Dr. Gwinn is an excellent doctor he is very knowledgeable very caring. I would highly recommend him. He is also a strong Christian which is what I want in a Dr., expecially one who is dealing with my heart. I believe I probably would have died if I had not meet Dr. Gwinn.

Dr. Gwinn took great care of my Grand Mother during her senior years. Now my Mother has asked to be a patient of his. Mrs. Emma J Weaver, loved this doctor and he kept her healthy for a very long time. He was very thorough with her care and she listened to him. My Mother has asked me to set her up with Dr. Gwinn and as a family, we all trust him as an excellent Cardioligist. Thank you Dr. Gwin and your entire staff.

Dr Gwinn is a very knowledgeable, and considerate Physician. He listens to what his patients tell him and responds to their concerns. Dr. Gwinn gives appropriate, non invasive tests to patients in his office, and he does this without scaring a person to death!!!

Actually shook my hand, and spoke to my wife, making sure she understood what was happening. Did not rush out of my visit. Was treated with respect and even though it is a business, everyone treated me as a friend that needed care, and we'll worry about the finances later. I guess he believes in keeping you around for your family, and the rest will work out for all. It was great to feel that the patient is the center of attention. My primary care Dr.'s cardiologist... need I say more.

Dr Gwinn's office was able to schedule a referral from my primary care doctor on the same day. Dr Gwinn quickly identified my problem and spent time explaining the condition and the course of treatment. Dr Gwinn and his staff work very quickly and efficiently.

Very competent and focused on the urgency of treating time sensitive issues.Has a down to earth explanation to questions you have.

Dr. Gwinn had left the office by the time it was our appointment time. We did not know this until we were back in the waiting room. We had to see his PA instead, who was unfamiliar with my stepdad's case. She was unprofessional and loud. When Dr. Gwinn called the next day he didn't remember whether he had ordered my step dad to keep taking his medication or not. Altogether a very unpleasant experience. Plus the office sent us equipment that was for the wrong patient.
