Dr. Ngozi Osuagwu, MD

This doctor made me feel stupid and not cared for. I told her my concerns with a certain pill and she argued with me on why it made me sick. She continued to roll her eyes when I told her I did not want that form of medication. Very disappointed especially because I specifically went to a black doctor thinking they’d be more caring for another black woman.

Dr. Osuagwu seems to believe that any other doctor you see is incompetent and that instead of focusing on things related to the care for which you are there to see her, she needs to intrude into every other area of your life. In addition, she will roll her eyes at you if you tell her that you have already heard these things from another provider.

My experience with Dr. O was great! she is a phenomenal doctor, she may lack tactfulness and sometimes may not show emotion that is ok with me. I had to understand her as she had to understand me, she is a "matter factly" kind of person. I think she's awesome and has some frustrations but she is strictly business and I appreciate that. I will be going into my 3rd surgery with her soon and I know I am in good hands. Once we got to know each other she has invited me to exercise & join her walking

I've had trauma from other docs which made me stop going for a long time along with severe anxiety. After getting the nerve and waiting 6 months, I was placed with Dr. Osuagwu. My first appointment was hard as it was, but her bedside manner and lack of emotion made things worse. She was so cold I wasn't comfortable explaining my issues. She didn't smile once during either of my 2 visits. I tried to switch to a new doc in the same practice who fit me more, but was denied. Horrible experience.

Dr. Oswagwu is an excellent physician. The front office experience and scheduling are quite unacceptable. Office location is not traffic friendly and scheduling is incredibly difficult/limited. Patients waiting for care beyond 15 minutes plus is acceptable as normal, but patients are rescheduled months out for thr same time delay. The care in patient care is no more.

Early in my pregnancy, I developed severe depression and stopped seeing her as my regular Dr. due to the emotional problems I was having. After delivering the baby and ending my journey with postpartum depression, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Osuagwu's office. She had her assistant call me to tell me she does not want me as a patient because we are not a good fit for each other. She had no concern for my emotional health as her patient. No concern for what happened. She was very cold.
