Dr. Nhu Tran, DO

Best total care doctor and clinic in Garland. Dr. Tran reminds me of the kind of physicians during the old “house call” visits! When doctors truly cared about there patients.

Dr. Tran took care of both of my parents and father in law prior to their passing, and still cares for my mother in law. She is the most caring physician I’ve ever met- and I am a nurse! She takes the time to insure that they receive the very best care when hospitalized by collaborating with the hospitalist physicians. She has arranged home health care for my in-laws and her sweet office manager has actually delivered items my parents home and visited my Dad while he was on hospice. She is one of a kind! I highly recommend Dr Tran to everyone that I know.

Dr. Tran is one of the best. She always takes time to talk to you and answer any questions one might have. She is interested in your family. I have been her patient for at least 18 years.

Dr. Tran’s office has been rude and unprofessional toward my elderly mother. Dr. Tran herself is a lovely person, but her husband is best described as a tyrant. Her husband, the office manager, is the main reason my mother is transferring her medical care else where. On more than one occasion, he’s yelled at my mother over the phone. My brother called to protest Mr. Tran’s disrespectful behavior toward our mother, and he became extremely defensive and hung up on my brother! Most recently he charged my mother for asking Dr. Tran question over the phone. She’d had major lung surgery, four days prior, and was asking about her medicine. Also, the office allows a dog to run around, which seems unsanitary and unclean. Finally, the office staff is a little too familiar. You can hear them gossiping while patients are waiting to be checked in. I feel sorry for Dr. Tran; but she needs to get a new office manager.
