The Best
Dr. Nick is a compassionate, skilled surgeon who cares about his patients outcomes. He treated me for wound care of an infection in an open wound in my left lower leg, due to CHF edema. A large area debridement, turned into a ruptured blood vessel at bedside causing a huge hematoma in my calf. Dr Nick evacuated the bleeding bedside, but I needed further surgery to repair the capillary. Upon repairing the vessel, he needed to remove a large portion of necrotic skin. The following week he performed a skin graft using skin from my thigh. I spent 4 months hospitalized and in rehab, but Nick Cortolillo saved my leg.

Dr. Cortolillo literally saved my life. He is the best surgeon I have ever had. Beyond that, he is thorough, caring and completely engages with you regardless of the context. He turned a dire situation into the best outcome.
