My name is Mary Kay Jones. I found Dr Karis to be compassionate, friendly, direct and honest. I found him to be sure of himself not pompous as I read in an earlier review. I certainly wouldn't allow a surgeon with no confidence to work on me. He told me to call with any questions that it's never a bother. Dr Karis did exactly what he said he would do. I'm alive and I can breath because of him. I would recommend this highly skilled surgeon to anyone that wants the best surgeon.

Dr Karis saved my life. That is what you need to know. He is a no nonsense, skilled surgeon, who explained completely the intricacies of my surgery before hand and how he was going to approach it. I went to Dr Karis not only because of his excellent reputation and experience, but he, himself, will tell you he is not a "cowboy" in the OR. I felt well cared for during an impossible situation and do not hesitate to recommend him.
