Former patient
I saw Dr Nikitas for several years, before I moved from Illinois to Arizona. I just thought about how kind he was today and wanted to give my review even though I moved away years ago to anyone looking for a kind and gentle doctor who will listen to your concerns and provide options, while respecting your decisions with your own body. Thank you Dr Nikitas for all of your service!

Completely detached from patient and unresponsive
Does not listen to patient concerns or input. Never returns messages sent through the patient portal. Took almost three days to review test result. Will be changing PCPs as soon as possible.

Sent three emails through MyChart. Drs office read them, but wouldn't respond. Dr. Nikitas reviewed lab results and missed that my thyroid medication is too high. Another doctor said I could have a stroke if dosage wasn't lowered. Three attempts and my PCP wouldn't respond - not even to say that I should schedule another appointment. They are always slow in resonding to medication refills - doctor's office said you need to give them ONE WEEK notice to refill a routine RX. Sheesh. Really bad office. Finally switched PCPs to someone who cares. Stay away from this doctor.

He Left the office for the day without refilling a prescription that we had called in. Got it wrong twice. Unconscionable. Every time.

I have been seeing him as a doctor for quite a while. He’s listens and understands what my concerns and worries are. He’s easy to book appointments with. He’s very easy to talk to and there’s is short waiting time and he explains everything clearly. I truly recommend him.

Don't believe this video or anything else this guy has to say. He only speaks with his patients when it is convenient for him. He constantly makes my wife wait on her medication which keeps her in pain all the time. We dread every single month having to deal with this guy, but he's the only option. DON'T GET STUCK WITH NIKITAS.
