Dr. Nicholas Nonas, MD

Dr. Nonas was the only doctor to correctly my diagnose Systemic Candidiasis in 1998, after being treated for months with increasing doses of antibiotics after a misdiagnosis overseas. Together with another physician (Dr. Ray C. Wunderlich who is now deceased), they were able to put together a protocol that essentially saved my life from the devastation the internal systemic yeast overgrowth was wreaking on all my bodily systems. I am eternally grateful to him & his staff for saving my life, & explaining how devastating antibiotics can be when used improperly. I'd like to add that the misdiagnosis came when I was overseas, & because I was traveling & unable to stay with one doctor, each stop to a chemist or physicians ofc brought another 'diagnosis' with stronger antibiotics that nearly killed me by causing a host of detrimental issues including: pseudomembranous colitis, serratia liquefaciens, c-diff & MRSA. Diagnosis and treatment came after extensive blood, urine & bowel testing.

When I first started seeing Dr Nonas I had had a severe reaction to a horseback ride. Turned out that I was allergic to about anything in the environment. Today, I seldom have any allergy problems. I credit all this to Dr Nonas for his care, knowledge and skill.

Dr. Nonas takes time with patients. He does not work in 15 minute increments as do many doctors. He is the most thorough doctor I have seen. He looks at the entire picture, not just the complaint you have. He is very knowledgable in his field of practice and much more. He does not rush you and will answer your questions. He explains procedures and medications so you understand. I started with Dr. Nonas many years ago. I felt the same way then as I do now.
