Dr. Nicholas Rallis, DDS

I am writing on behalf of Mom since she is elderly and does not have access to the internet. Her experience was horrible. The work that was done was shoddy (she had an uncomfortable overbite from the replaced tooth and it is longer than her other teeth). Further, without her consent, unaffected teeth were jiggled and shaved which have caused those teeth to darken in color. Two complaint letters were written to Dr. Rallis with no response.

I have never seen a practice MORE MONEY HUNGRY than this one! Vidya Sartorious, in charge of billing, had told me my insurance covers everything I would pay for the day of my visit and I ended up paying over $300 out of my pocket. I then called after I was only reimbursed for $75 by insurance. She said she never said that I would be entirely reimbursed and then hung up the phone on me. I asked for a cleaning, she then charged me for x-rays, a comprehensive oral exam, and a cleaning. She made it very clear several times that I would not have to pay a penny out of pocket, and that my insurance covers everything. She just wants your money. This practice does not care about the patient at all. She also tried to get me to have a jaw exam, which costs $500 which I didn't find out until after I was in the dentist's chair, about to begin. Do not waste your time here! Save your money and go to a better practice that is friendlier and will not lie to their patients. This is a reoccurring theme

My experience with this dental practice was more like one with a used car dealership than a physician. Don't be fooled by the beautiful office and smiles. When the masks come off, they are only interested in a huge bill. Dr. Rallis ignored infections and pain from several underlying teeth, and failed to file for preauthorization from my insurance. After I withdrew permission, he claims he did other work, without my knowledge or consent. Legal actin pending. Even his age listed here is a lie.

He was pushing the Dawson treatment. I was not happy at all.
