Dr. Nicholas Stienstra, MD

He was empathetic and truly caring. He was thorough, listened and took the time necessary to figure out the best plan for my arthritis.

I was referred to see Dr. Stienstra by my doctor on August 6, 2024. I never received a phone call from his office as to when my appointment would be. I called my doctor thinking maybe they never sent the referral over. I called Dr. Stienstra's office, in speaking with Valeria, she informed me that they did receive the paperwork on August 6th from my doctor. She then said that someone should have called me but they did not, to make things worse Valeria aso informed me that Dr. Stienstra is not taking new patients. The employee that was responsible should be spoken to by her supervisor. Maybe she needs to be sent to more training to understand the seriousness of her job and how to deal with the public more professionally. If she did this to me, I wonder if there are other patients that she has also done the same thing.

He is thorough, has a wide array of knowledge, including familiarity with rare disorders (in my case, cryoglobulinemia), asks pertinent questions, is caring, honest and extremely competent. I highly recommend him.
