Dr Sutera is just super
Dr Sutera is totally invested in your overall health , very thorough as well as a very sympathetic person. He doesn’t miss Anything- is very easy to talk to, as is the entire office of medical personnel. He has been our doctor since 2017. Dr Sutera caught a very serious situation that I was in a few years ago when another doctor (surgeon) completely MISSED a post operative complication that was slowly doing me in (surgeon was not affiliated with Sarasota Memorial!) If he was not my internist who insisted I come in that day with severe abdominal pain then ,……….. I owe Dr Sutera A LOT. I have my whole family going to him. I am an RN by profession. We are Blessed to have him in Sarasota. Every single covering doctor in that office is also terrific! I give him a 7 star rating!

The best doctor N Sutera made time to listen and ceck to all my condition being sick , did look on all my past test results, and did recommend more tests. Thank you doctor Sutera you have knowledge and compassion for patients. The best doctor !

I make a tentative appt every two months and sometimes every month if needed. If I feel anything is ”coming on” like a cold or sinus problems like I get, I call right away for an appt. I have heard Dr. Sutera is hard to get an appt with on the fly! He has many patients that do not want to leave after they meet him as their primary physician. He is a cut above when it comes to doctors and getting the quality of care Dr. Sutera and his staff brings every single patient ”no matter their insurance!” My advice is to take the first available appointment and be happy you can see him at all! Of course, this is my opinion and I am just one patient; for the past fifteen years! Thank you for reading!

Poor communication and lack of follow up from staff. I left a voice message on Nurse line. I had to call 4 times and still not call back. Went to Urgent Care (during COVID) and prescribed medication. Will be looking for a new provider!

Dr.Sutera is the best doctor I've ever been to! He is kind, companionate, caring and a genuinely caring nice guy! He takes his time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a true family doctor!

I had an itching ear problem for a long time--perhaps eight years. During that time another GP MD and two Dermatoligist MDs proscribed drops and ointments that were ineffective. Several years ago, Dr. Sutera proscribed ear drops that stopped the itching almost immediately.
