Standard for all doctors
Admitted to ER at St. Catherine’s in Smithtown with bad blood infection and pneumonia. Dr. Bizeta was, thankfully, there as the infectious disease specialist. He is remarkable. What a rarity among doctors. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent But, he is also super caring, communicative, accessible and responsive. He goes the extra mile to provide treatment and answers. I believe his management of my case saved my life. I thank him deeply. I wish he could be my primary care doctor as he’s exactly what a GREAT doctor should beTake lessons other physicians!

I Got Lucky
I was admitted thru the emergency room of St. Catherine of Siena Hospital with symptoms of infectious disease. Fortunately, Dr. N. Bizeta was the MD who handled my case. A gifted physician with a great deal of experience and who posses a rare gift for clear and concise communication skills. He looks you in the eye and listens carefully. He acts on what he hears as well as what he sees medically. He also is not afraid to share his thoughts and decisions with the patient. For a person like me, communication and knowing all the facts is the means for healing and hope. I can't thank him enough for his expertise not only medically but for his communication skills. If you find yourself struggling with an infectious disease, please see Dr. Bizeta for his opinion.

Dr. Bizeta was part of a team of doctors who treated me when I was admitted from the ER after experiencing shortness of breath. He paid attention to my description of my condition, discussed his observations and answered my questions, was understanding of the fact that I was anxious about my condition, and scheduled a follow-up the next week which went smoothly. He handles every aspect of his interactions with patients with professionalism and compassion. I highly recommend him.

Dr Bizeta was the Infectious Disease Specialist that was assigned to my 83 year old mother when she came down with Covid in October. Not only was he thorough with his treatment protocols, but his bedside manner was amazing. He explained EVERYthing to my mother in a calm professional manner, which kept her reassured throughout her ordeal. He successfully cleared her of double pneumonia within one week. She did have subsequent ailments, not "Covid" related so much as reactions to certain medicines, which caused her to return to the hospital one week later. From the minute he learned she was back in the hospital, he checked on her every single day and continued to help her in her recovery. (BTW-she is doing great now!). Although he works unbelievably long hours, he made it a point to call ME (the daughter) almost every single day to report on mom's progress. He is beyond dedicated and professional. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that should ever need his service.

Dr. Nicolae Bizeta is an amazing physician. I was admitted to the hospital with many symptoms yet no concrete single issue. Dr. Bizeta listened everyday asked so many questions and definitely was instrumental in saving my kidney from renal failure and possibly my life from septic shock. He performed a plethora of tests and used his expertise to figure out what was going on and making me so sick. Once he diagnosed the cause of infection he phoned colleagues and I had emergency surgery. Dr. Bizeta continued to monitor me throughout my hospital stay and I cannot praise him enough for his diligence and expertise. I hope you never need an infectious disease physician but if you do there is none better then Dr. Bizeta.

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor, Dr. Bizeta. His attention and dedication throughout the ordeal of curing an infected knee replacement was unwavering. Answering questions and informing always eased my concerns. He also had paid very close attention to details and even changed dressings when needed. When you call him he returns the calls. Thank you so very much.

I was admitted to the hospital for septic shock, and Dr. Bizeta played a big part in saving my life. He is detailed, thorough, left no stone un-turned, and on top of that has excellent bedside manner. He never rushed through conversations, he listened attentively to everything I said, taking action where needed, and was excellent with follow through. I can't say enough good things about the care he gave me. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know.
