Good doctor. Just not schooled in what I have
I have seen Dr. Bordas for a few years and overall I would say he is a good doctor. He does have what I would call a quirky personality that does take some getting used to. I have osteomyelitis and he tried several things to fix the issue and then basically threw up his hands. Which that in itself is not my issue. He failed to refer me to someone else leaving me and my wound doctor to try and find somebody.

Caring, listened to me, took time with me
I have only seen Dr Bordas in the inpatient hospital setting but he was very attentive, showed genuine concern, visited me daily in the hospital and actually pulled up a chair to my bedside and listened to me and my husband and explained in dept what was going on with my infection and gave me options to help me get rid of this infection. I am very thankful he is my doctor during this very stressful and painful time. I would definitely recommend Dr Bordas to anyone dealing with very serious infections.

His staff is very nice and caring. He however has no "bed side manner". He cut me off in conversation during my initial visit, after waiting 2 hours for him to get there. When I asked for test results 6 days later. I was told he asked what is so important that it's "life or death". He does have other obligations with hospitals so maybe he should stick to that and not see patients in an office environment. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you want a physician who is available for your care.
