Dr. Nicole Chainakul, MD

I had cervical biopsy. Two weeks later I developed foul smelling discharge and severe pain. I messaged her office. They told me I need to take more ibuprofen. The pain increased and I went to Saint John ER. The ER doctor proformed a pelvic exam and stated I have yellow discharge from the cervical os and the cervix is red and inflamed. The ER doc gave me three different abx and some pain medication. I followed up with Dr. Chainakul she stated “ER doctors do not know what they are doing. You were just ovulating”. I ended up requiring a LEEP which turned into a LEEP and a hat procedure. She never explained to me or my husband that she ended up doing an additional surgical procedure! Two weeks after the surgery I randomly started rapidly loosing large amount vaginal blood. I went back to Saint John ER where the bleeding could not be stopped so I was take by ambulance to Saint francis where I was seen by Dr. Chainakul. She was rude, heartless and dismissive. Don’t let her touch you!

I was literally admitted to the hospital and she said just exercise and you'll be fine. I was admitted to the icu a day later, thank God for the doctors there. If not for them I would be dead, and so would my baby.

Dr. Chainakul was attentive and caring during my visit. I appreciated the time she spent listening to and addressing my concerns.

She is very dismissive. Does not listen to your concerns. Glad she is leaving the practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chainakul for at least the last 10 years. I find her to be exceptional in her care. She is personable and has great bedside manners. I would recommend her to anyone. I'm getting ready to be on my third IUD and I've been to her for all of them. She was also amazing when I thought I found a lump in my breast, she was able to help me navigate through the situation calmly.

My partner and I went to Dr. Chainakul with tons of questions and needing advice. Her and nurse Brenda went out of their way to fully answer all of our questions and make suggestions to us that have helped us tremendously. 1,000,000 thanks!

I absolutely do not recommend her or the staff there, she does not listen to any of your needs, and completely dismissed my issues, i’m a pregnant teen and am already contracting and dilated and i was told it was normal and she completely ignored it, she completely ignored the fact that there were blood and bacteria in my pee as well that turned out to be a bad UTI that was causing me to go into pre term labor, thanks to st.johns and my new dr.parham they were able to catch it and get me on meds.. seriously do not recommend her, she’s so disappointing, my appointments were very rushed also, she didn’t seem to care about what i had to say or care to listen.

She is the best doctor I have ever had she has deliverd 2 of my boys she is amazing thoughtful really listens to me.

Dr. Chainakul is great, unless you express any problems. She was my first OBGYN and always made me feel comfortable. When I hit my mid 20’s I was beginning to have issues including gaining weight and missing periods. I told her I had family history of PCOS. She told me to diet and exercise. She didn’t check it out and basically blew me off. I got a second opinion and was diagnosed with PCOS.

Dr. Chainakul is amazing. She has been the best OB I have ever had. I suffered from a miscarriage of twins and she was the one who got me in 3 days later to do my D&C. She hugged me when I cried and has done everything to make sure I am mentally and physically okay.

She seemed nice, but after I experienced complications her nursing staff and receptionist became rude and dismissive. The quality of healthcare has gone down in the past 15 years. I sometimes wonder why these people are in their profession. If you have no complications it maybe fine cause your in and your out and they get paid. If you have any kind of issue, I don't feel like they listen or try to help with the situation or complication.

Unprofessional and arrogant

I saw Dr. Chainakul after having abnormal bleeding and extreme pain. Several appointments, & she was always dismissive, condescending, and refused to listen--told me my symptoms were self-inflicted. I found a different OB. 2 minutes into my appointment with him and he diagnosed me. Month later, I had surgery. I had a clogged fallopian tube and Endometriosis. 4 months later, I finally conceived. I do NOT recommend Dr. Chainakul.

My wife received surgery from dr. Chain skull and was released from the hospital. She's been back to the ER several times and dr. Chainakul will not answer our calls or even call us back! Several dr.s have stated that since she's the surgeon that worked on my wife she should be helping her. I may have to take my wife back to the emergancy room again! Be careful of using this "Doctor"! The people in her office make us hold for anywhere between 30-45 minutes just to say she'll call us when she can

Dr. Chainakul was nothing but absolutely amazing during my prenantal appointments and my c section for my second child. My first birth experience was not with her, but it made me not want any more children. Thanks to Dr. Chainakul, I would like to have another one. I can't thank her enough for being companionate and listening to me during every appointment. I went to her with the intentions of moving to another doctor closer to my employer but after two visits I already loved her & stayed !

I was amazed at how she went out of her way to help me. She actually came in on her day off to do my surgery. I have always found her to be down to earth and not talk over my head. I have recently moved to Tulsa but I will make the drive to come to her. She is worth it!

My daughter had a medical emergency and was referred to Dr. Chainakul by an ER doctor. She confirmed the appointment and arrived on time and was refused to be seen because they said she was supposed to be there 30 minutes early which they did not tell her when she confirmed the appointment. She left the office crying, bleeding, & in excruciating pain. A doctor should not turn away a patient in an emergency situation. I would not recommend a doctor who will turn away a patient in an emergency.

I have always found Dr. Chainakul to be very patient and kind. Very personable and listens. I would highly recommended for any of your OB/GYN needs.

Dr Chainakul is a good surgeon, no doubt about that. However she should patients. I could list all the things that went wrong in the hospital simply because she doesn't listen, but I'm limited on words that I can use via this review site. She didn'treally answer questions during the pregnancy either. I usually left my appointments more confused and ended up just doing my own research. If you can, find a different OB. And never have your child at Bailey.

Dr. Chainakul has delivered both of my babies. Both times she has been stellar. I have a physical condition that makes me high risk and requires cecarean delivery, but she made me feel so at ease. She is very knowlegeable and you can tell that she genuinely cares for her patients. I recomend her to everyone I know!
