DETACHED and INDIFFERENT
Nicole Dietz treated my husband for many years, prescribing the usual medications for Parkinson and recommending physical therapy. Perhaps there's nothing more one can do with this disease. When I contacted her, which is difficult to do, about his abrupt decline she gave me the name of a nursing service. After that, she never once, after all the time my husband was her patient, did she contact us again to ask how he was doing. That pattern continued even when my husband was no longer capable of keeping his appointments with her. ( Also, as a minor side note, she had the condescending habit of addressing me by my first name when I always called her Dr. Dietz.)

Considerate, Caring and Attentive
Dr. Dietz has been one of the kindest, most attentive physicians I’ve spoken with. She is understanding, patient, is an attentive listener and is highly proactive and detailed in Portal conversations between appointments. I cannot recommend her enough, especially for young women navigating neurological or psychiatric symptoms.

Had exceptional experience with Dr. Dietz: yes unhurried hour with lots of information. She listens tentatively and shares her thoughts actively. She diagnosed and healed a long term headache as the most experienced doctor but at the same time she is humble, frank, and open-minded on trying and adjusting medications on different complicated medical issues. You'd feel you are in good hand but your IQ is respected, unlike some opposite feeling from some doctor in the same group...

Like her a lot; clearly know her stuff (by being frank about uncertainties) when asked frank about disease and its progression prospects and variation, and about what is and is not known about Parkinson's and related conditions; lets me be flip or sardonic.

She's good at her job, but be wary...is like a factory at the neurology center. They charge you a mandatory copay just to come back to discuss results that can be easily done on the phone. Highly disappointed and will never go back.

I chose Dr. Dietz to be my Neurologist after my original neurologist left the VA area. And what a great choice it was. I have Parkinson's ((8 years) and on my first visit, an unhurried hour,, with my wife, she conducted a very thorough review of my history and symptoms. I have had chronic neck pain for years and Dr. Dietz said it could be relieved with injection of Botox-like material directly into my neck. It's been 2 weeks since that injection and the pain is almost gone. Five stars!
