A Wonderful New Doctor on Amelia Island!
I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Soos as a new patient, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism by Dr. Soos. She took the time to listen carefully to all of my health concerns, and I truly felt heard. Dr. Soos was thorough, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her patients' well-being, which made me feel at ease during the entire visit. I’m so grateful to have found such a compassionate and skilled doctor, and I look forward to continuing my care with her. Highly recommend Dr. Soos to anyone looking for a trustworthy and friendly physician!

extremely dismissive
This doctor has left me feeling incredibly anxious. I went in wanting to just get on the record that I've been experiencing an increase in headaches from never to maybe a few times a month. She completely spoke over me and completely exaggerated my symptoms to the point that she was explaining to me what type of brain tumor I might have and put a referral in for an MRI to be done. She never asked me about current stress levels, diet, anxiety, starting with an eye doctor, didn't consider that I'm also currently in adult ortho. Didn't so much as look in my ears or listen to my heartrate. I left this appointment absolutely filled with anxiety and like I have no idea why she thinks a headache a few times a month would mean a brain tumor but obviously now I'm scared and still have to wait a month for this next step. Assuming these results come back negative, I will never return to this office and would absolutely recommend no one else to either.

The only one who listened
My husband has chronic pain from a medical condition. She helped us find all avenues to manage it and has been a greater doctor. I started bringing my son here.

Poor Communication
During my appointment, Dr. Soos did not demonstrate a willingness to listen or engage in a meaningful conversation about my health concerns. When I attempted to explain my reasons for seeking a second opinion, she interrupted me and disregarded my perspective. As a patient, I place great importance on having a collaborative and communicative relationship with my primary care physician. Feeling heard and valued is crucial for building trust and ensuring optimal patient care. Additionally, I was disappointed by the lack of inquiry into my overall well-being. Dr. Soos did not ask about any other concerns I might have had or inquire about my experiences with the prescribed medications. Consequently, her report inaccurately stated that I was doing well on my medications. Without taking the time to assess medication adherence or inquire about any potential side effects, it is impossible to accurately determine the efficacy of the prescribed treatment.
