Good patient visit
Dr. Verma was polite and professional in his interaction with me during the patient visit. I appreciated his recommendation for what to do next after the patient visit to feel better.

Honest second opinion
Telehealth
We had a telehealth appointment where I sent my films and MRI ahead of time and he evaluated me for stem cell regeneration therapy. I am not a candidate for that, and Dr. Verma gave me a second opinion regarding having surgery. I appreciated his honesty and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing surgery for an evaluation for stem cell regeneration therapy or a second opinion. In fact I will likely consult him when I need the other shoulder evaluated, which will likely be soon.

Biggest Life Regret Trusting Dr Verma
I wanted to take my time before writing this review, but after more than three years since my arthroscopic surgery with Dr. Nikhil Verma at Rush Orthopedic, I feel compelled to warn others about my experience. I was assured I would see positive results within 6 to 16 months—yet my condition has only worsened.I initially sought Dr. Verma’s help for persistent shoulder pain during heavy pushing exercises. My MRI showed no structural damage—everything was clean. Despite this, he recommended an exploratory procedure, stating he frequently performed them on athletic individuals like me with a supposed 98% success rate. He assured me that, at worst, I’d be no worse off than before. Trusting him was the worst mistake of my life. After a failed cortisone test in my biceps tendon, I proceeded with surgery. Post-operation, Dr. Verma claimed he had “found the problem” and performed a biceps tenodesis, debridement, and shaved down a bone spur—despite the cortisone injection showing no effect, w

Best experience and excellent treatment
From the binder given to me to prepare for surgery to the endless staff interactions who guided me through each step of process, it was amazing. I decided to sign up for the text messages leading up to and after surgery, very helpful and informative. Dr Verma has built a practice worth its weight in gold. I have recommended him to friends already.

Great experience with Dr. Verma
Dr. Verma and his team are the best!! I recently had shoulder surgery done and my recovery has gone very smooth thanks to his care. Dr. Verma’s team was extremely thorough and helped me through every step of the process leading up to surgery day and beyond. I knew I was in great hands with Dr. Verma. Maura, one of his PAs, was especially helpful on the day of my surgery. She came by bed before and after surgery to check in with me and made sure I was doing well. She gave a detailed explanation of everything that was done during my surgery and even went through my surgery imagery with me. Thank you, Maura, for all of your help! I really appreciated Dr. Verma’s surgery texts with helpful tips and tricks to navigating pre and post operation. Thank you Dr. Verma and team for all you do!!! I confidently and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Verma to anyone having shoulder issues.

Absolutely Phenomenal
Dr. Verma and his team are amazing. He repaired my meniscus along with a few other issues. He was my third opinion but should have been my first. He is knowledgeable, personable, has great bedside manners and has great staff. The level of service is top-tier. I'm sure he has tons of patients but during your visits he makes you feel like you're his only patient. I've had no knee pain since surgery. I would recommend him 100 times over.

Front Office
To say I was disappointed is a complete understatement. My husband and I both took off of work and canceled our daughter's PT appointment to drive for over an hour and wait an additional 45 minutes only to be told she couldn't be seen because they didn't take our insurance. All of the paperwork was submitted ahead of time and we were told if there were any issues they would notify us before the appointment. I even did my due diligence and checked our insurance companies website to make sure before hand. I'm not sure where the ball was dropped but that was highly unprofessional and a complete waste of our time.
