Dr. Nikita Vischer, MD

She was very personable. Came in with a nice smile. Addressed both me and my husband. Asked Q. Listened to the answers. Responded to my answers. Answered my questions. Explained what was happened to my knee on X-rays and MRI very concise and easy to understand. Gave me the choices of treatment. Described what each entailed so I could make an informed decision. Very pleased

Over 2 years since my appointment with this woman, I am still shocked and upset by her words and behavior. She saw me for knee pain. She looked at my overweight body with disdain, then looked at my X-rays and chart. She rudely said, 'I can't prescribe you pain killers because you take lithium.' I told her I already knew that and I was not there for drugs. I proudly told her I had lost a lot of weight. I was exercising a lot but my knee pain was holding me back. She told me there was nothing she could do for me and showed me some stretches. I left feeling hopeless. A friend told me about a treatment. I went back to a different doctor and my knee pain was solved. I can now do all the intense physical activity I want. No thanks to Vischer. Out of curiosity, I later requested my records. She had written, 'Patient has bipolar disorder,' in the first line of her notes. What does that have to do with arthritis? I feel she is biased against overweight people and people with mental illness.

Great Dr. she is very professional, and does a very good job.

The shots she gave were given with empathy, not just because it was something she had to do and get it over with. I will continue to see her.

I have a recurring issue with My shoulder Dr Visher was methodical In her approach for treatment. I have complete relief after this last treatment. She took time to explain my MRI to me and did not rush me when I had decisions to make. She is empathetic and gentle. I feel very at ease with her and highly recommend this Dr for your Ortho problems

I’ve seen OCR for about 7 years & could not get into my regular sports med Dr immediately. Dr Vischer had a cancelation & could see me same day. She used X-ray & previous notes to carefully evaluate the issues with my shoulder & back. She offered several options & we came up with a plan. My back was responsive to oral steroids & my shoulder to cortisone inj. I have had to see her again for bilateral knee pain. Worst knee with an MRI done & no response to the knee gel inj. Yesterday her comprehensive eval & compassionate approach with both knees (despite only scheduling for one knee) has me walking pretty much pain free today for the first time since Feb 2023 when I developed out of the blue bilateral pulmonary embolisms & DVTs. It has been debilitating trying to recover function with both my knees being very painful. I was moving despite it, but they were slowing me down. I have HOPE! You will not be disappointed with Dr Vischer.
