DR. MODI IS WONDERFUL. HE ACTUALLY LISTENS TO YOU, AND THEN WILL ASK YOU HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT A CHANGE IN MEDICATION IF HE FEELS THAT IT IS NEEDED. HE IS SOFT SPOKEN, HE NEVER FEELS INTIMIDATING OR "SMARTER THAN" YOU. HE ANSWERS ALL MY QUESTIONS WITH OUT HESITATION.

I have been seeing Dr. Modi for about a year now. He helps me a great deal with trying to get my life back. He looks out for my well being as well as my family's well being in helping me with issues that can be a danger to myself or others. He's very easy to talk to, and goes above and beyond his duties. If looking for a great psychiatrist he's defiantly the man for the job.

As a person who has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder with Psychotic tendencies and GAD for over twenty years. I have seen numerous Dr.s over the years, and Dr. Mody is the most knoweledgeable Dr. I have ever had. He truly listens and makes me feel I am a part of my treatment program. He is well versed in the latest treatment options, and thoroughly explains every decision. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from a mental illness.

His style of questions gets to the heart of what is the matter, how can he help and which medications are needed or not needed. I've been seeing Dr. Modi for over a year. He is a kind and gentle and caring physician. He is a great psychiatrist. He is well respected and he has been around for a long while. Dr. Modi is very good psychiatrist, I had been struggling from depression since longtime and tried multiple meds but would not work or can't tolerate, he suggested gene testing and based on results he prescribed antidepressant and it worked just great!! Also in the process, he advised to get my thyroid checked with my pcp as sometimes low thyroid can present as depression alike symptoms and I found I also have low thyroid n my pcp started treatment in timely manner. doing much better now.

Dr. Modi takes his time and listens. His knowledge and compassion is awesome! There are times when he runs a bit late and you may have to wait beyond your appointment time to see him. I attribute it to the amount of face-to-face time he spends with each patient. I have never felt rushed to leave or been cut short. I recommend him to everyone.

I have been suffering from depression for a long time and been on many antidepressant medications over the time. I started seeing Dr. Modi at community health center. Dr. Modi is soft spoken and very kind person and he made me feel comfortable. Although he was very busy he talk to me in detail about my childhood issues and currents issues affecting my life. He took swab of my saliva for genetic test and based on results and considering my previous med trials, he change my med and now feel great!

Excellent doctor! I've been a patient for around 2 years and will continue to be. I've actually improved a lot since my initial visit and can attest the medications/levels have been well monitored (and seem to be working). Dr. Modi is very kind, calm and knowlegeable. You can tell he honestly cares about your well-being and listens to your concerns. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. He speaks clearly and concisely and I have never had to ask him to repeat himself. Highly recommended. A+

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Modi?
Dr. Modi, like most psychiatrists, focuses almost exclusively on medication management; however, to his credit he takes time to ask about your well-being. He's willing to change medication when necessary &/or requested. BUT whether it's a cultural or gender gap, he downplays the severity of a female's depression. As a Southern woman, smiling even when suicidal is 2nd nature. He told me at 1 visit that if I was really very depressed I wouldn't be able to smile or joke: common defense mechanisms.
