Dr. Nilaya Bhawsar, DO

Dr Dhawsar is the best. Very thorough, friendly and profesional. He explains everything he is doing. (Staff is great as well) I can not thank him enough!! He was able to diagnose and help me control my Neuropathy pain.. I would recomend him for all your neurological needs.

Dr. Bhawshar is a caring and knowledgeable doctor. I appreciate his humble personality. He takes time to talk with the patient and goes into details asking about any possible causes of the health issues. I feel safe to have a caring doctor to watch out for my aches and pains. I saw Dr. Bhawsar for the first time on October 14. I found him to be a caring and compassionate doctor. I was anxious about discussing my age-related memory issues and he was so kind and patient as he administered many tests. He answered all my questions and eased my mind. It is very reassuring to know that I will have Dr. Bhawsar as my doctor in the future. I strongly recommend him.

Very caring manner and overall a caring man

I have been seeing Dr. Bhawsar for years. He is the only doctor and I have tried many that understands my migraines. Talks me trough treatment choices and found a regimen that works. My migraines are complicated and he was so thorough in scheduling proper tests and really listening to me. He is smart, compassionate and I recommend him to anyone who is experiencing migraines.

Compassion and empathy? Not a part of this office's structure. Worst staff who Dr. Bhawsar does not care to correct when putting a patient's procedure/records in jeopardy. You will never get to speak with him once you leave the office as his staff, who lack basic medical office knowledge, will screen you and say "they cannot help", "I don't know", and "no" to everything. You are on your own and will struggle. Do not recommend.

I went to this doctor for ADHD diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately one of the characteristics of ADHD is inconsistent follow up which is one of the REASONS patient seek treatment in the first place. After I did miss a couple appointments, admittedly, and as I scheduled next one ,he instructed his nasty unprofessional secretary Cindy or Cynthia was her name to inform me that if I canceled one more appointment he would no longer see me as a patient. I promptly called back and canceled my appointment and the snark and sarcasm in his secretary’s voice was palpable. The two of them deserve each other and they should find another line of work. Doctors are within their right to direct their practice as they see fit of course. At the same time ,if you’re going to purport to treat a certain condition then know how to treat it with empathy and professionalism and if you don’t like the pitfalls of the condition then don’t claim to treat it.

AMAZING!!! Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews and three of them sound like the same person. Anyhow, his staff is friendly, they see you at, or before, your appointment time - at both appointments I have had so far. Dr. Bhawsar explains things thoroughly. He talked me through a test I had today and made me feel well taken care of as he administered the, at times, very uncomfortable procedure. He is personable and even remembered pieces of our conversation from my last visit over three weeks prior. I can’t honestly remember the last time a doctor treated me like a human being to the degree that he did. As far as I am concerned, at a time when my faith in the medical profession has been seriously shaken, my experience with this practice has helped to restore my trust.

Didn’t find him helpful... he does very basic testing with no real answers.

This man is dangerous! I gave him one star because I couldn't use zero! He was the hospital assigned neurologist when I was brought to the ER with symptoms of a stroke. He insisted that my paralysis was all in my head, that I was depressed and needed to see a psychiatrist! Thankfully the other physicians at the hospital are fabulous. A year, and 2 cervical disc fusion surgeries later, I'm fine.

Best Dr. in the world. Kind, caring and thorough. Easily diagnosed my illnesses, really, illnesses and got me on the road to recovery.

i felt faint and light headed one day so i went to the urgent care center where they ruled out a stroke or cardiac event....they referred me to Dr. Bhawsar to follow up ...to see if i had any undetected neurological condition. I found him to be delightful, caring and competent. He made a diagnosis of a vaso vagal response which is a minor reaction to stress, foods, or sudden shifts in balance. I also went to my cardiologist as well who confirmed Dr. Bhawsar's diagnosis. I l

Bhawsar is worst doctor I've ever seen. He ignored my serious physical symptoms and instead told me I was depressed. I ended up hospitalized within the week. I don't recommend him to anyone.

My experience with this Dr. was very unpleasant. I did not feel he listened to my issues, he honestly made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about when it came to my issues. He constantly interrupted me when I tried to explain myself or looked out the window while I was talking. He was very dismissive, rude and condescending in my view and I did not like it. I will not be going back to this doctor and would not recommend him for myself or my family. Very unpleasant experience!

Hello... I found this neurologist after I had a huge scare at the ER. He was straight, to the point, asked direct questions, completly explained all my efinal reports from the ER, he then performed his own exam and made me feel at ease. Very professional in his practice. I would definetly recommend.

I was recommended to this group by my primary. I did a web search and was encouraged to read the reviews by other patients which encouraged me to make an appointment with this Doctor. I was very pleased to learn that his reviews were spot on. He did not talk down to me, was frank, without being rude, and made suggestions for me to consider regarding available treatments. I would highly recommend this doctor to any and all seeking medical help.
