Make appointment with her far in advance and you maybe get to see her but they are very good at switching you to an assistant the day before your appointment.

There are NO RUDER staff than Dr. Mawmaw’s. Look for another PCP.

If I could give a zero stars I would. Office is very disorganized. I called an made an appointment, which I waited 2 months for, on the day of I was told I didn't have an appointment. I was told the office manager would call me as she was not in the office, it's been over a month now and no call.

Dr Maw Maw is an amazing, caring physician. She listens and responds proactively. Her nurses and staff are caring and attentive as well. Can’t say enough about Dr Maw Maw.

Best empathetic doctor in the Coachella Valley. She cares so much about all her patients and does her best to give them the best medical treatment ,advice and recommendations when needed. Highly recommended all the way from by our PA from Loma Linda.

I moved to a desert area and was trying to find a doctor. I called and left message, never received a call back. Even if the doctor doesn't accept a new patients I feel like I should receive a call with an explanation. Horrible customer service and it looks like employees don't care. Very disappointing!

I have been with Dr. Maw Maw for a couple of years. I have watched her staff make fun of elderly people when they leave the office. Currently, they never answer the phone and when they do check the voice mail messages and IF they return your call it's the next day or so. I've left messages on the Nurses voice mail only to be told that the Nurse is not in today and will not retrieve the message when I had followed up with an additional call! I rarely get to see Dr. Maw only the MA or Nurse and if I'm lucky enough to see her I have to wait hours and then she rushes me because her staff have scheduled too many patients for the day. Latest issue is incorrect instruction on my prescription, which the pharmacist caught, but again a wait for me while they double check with the doctors office. On top of that I went in for a simple UTI and had to wait an extra week for the lab before they would prescribe an antibiotic, so meanwhile I'm in discomfort. you can't make this stuff up...

Dr MawMaw is wonderful on the 2 occasions that I actually got to see her. It’s usually with her NP’s though. I think they just have too many patients because if I need paperwork faxed to a surgeon for a scheduled surgery or a referral sent to a specialist I have either had to copy my chart there and pay to fax it myself or wait over a month for a referral to specialists I’ve been seeing for 2 years but need referrals now that my insurance changed. If you’re elderly and don’t want frustration it’s probably not where you want to go although I’ve found most doctors office staff to be just as poor.

I recently had Dr. Maw Maw, pull some strings to get me admitted to Enisenhower Medical Center, to have a Picline procedure, everything went so smooth. At the time she’s wasn’t my primary care doctor, my wife and I were so impressed she is now my families primary physician, she has amazing bed side manners and has great follow up skills. Staff seems unable to handle routine things. Wife couldn’t breath, was promised prescription for drugs and home nebulizer. Rx for device never was called in. This happened three times. Finally the doctor took my wife’s phone number, promised to resolve problem. Three weeks later, nothing, not even promised phone call from doctor. Look elsewhere, this place has poor service.

Dr. Maw Maw let's her staff dictate who she sees and lie about patients to her, and she falls for it hook, line and sinker. Offered to see me in the parking lot after her rude office manager Michelle would not listen to the fact no one called me to tell me (the day before my appt) that I would no longer be seeing the Dr, but a PA and had Maw Maw say she could not see me anymore. No customer service skills at all.

I have been with Dr. Maw Maw for about 1 year now. She is amazing and her staff is AWESOME! Everytime I go in, they have a smile on there face. I’ve never seen them act in a unprofessional manner. They always ask how I am doing, if I need water, etc. I started with a NP who is there only on Fridays I believe. But then followed up with Dr. herself. This was the best visit I’ve had in years. She answered everything & didn’t rush me at all! My 45 min was so worth it!!

I am a new patient and the first time I phoned to make my 1st appointment, I was on hold for over 5 minutes. Then the doctor kept me waiting for her for almost 45 minutes. Today, I phoned for a prescription re-fill and this time six minutes on hold. That is overly past the amount of time someone should have returned to the phone to take my name and information.

The majority of the staff is selective with the smiles and friendly greetings both on the phone and in the office. I have come to feel that staff avoids me when I come in for weekly injections, so much that I just stopped coming in. Dr. Nina is a sweetheart but she does not listen. I have not felt well for well over 2 years and she insists that I am perfectly fine based only on blood work. We are supposed to listed our bodies when something isn't right. I wish my Dr. would listen too.

I made my appointment based on the representation that my initial visit would be my annual well exam and therefore no co payment. My insurer confirmed this was OK and I disclosed this to the phone staff when I made the appointment. I completed all the numerous forms at home and was told them I turned them in my co payment was due despite what the insurer said. No arguing. And they subbed two nurses for a board certified MD ! Never met the Dr. Sorry - wrong guy to do this to. AVOID.
