Excellent doctor. I'm very grateful for her clear explanations and her ability to listen.

Dr Gidwani told my sister that she needed to come back to UCSF for testing to test for an avf. My sister came a 3-hour trip after having dialysis to have the test and they did not even test for the AVF. THEN when she went to the follow-up which doctor Dr Gidwani said she would personally be at, Dr.Gidwani sent in a nurse practitioner instead who had absolutely ZERO idea of my sister's EXTREMELY complicated history. My sister went through a huge ordeal spent $500 at a hotel to come to UCSF for the testing and got completely blown off by Dr Gidwani for no reason. She also had PH findings on her echo that are CRITICAL and need to be reviewed by Dr Gidwani which she did not even bother to review! Dr Gidwani never even addressed the main issue that she claimed my sister needed to come back to UCSF to dignose the AVM. She did not even mention it when ordering the CAT scan. She said it was very difficult to diagnose and it HAD to be done at UCSF and then never followed up at all! Ombudsman

She's fantastic!
I highly recommend Dr Gidwani. I don't know who would give her a single star. Maybe they didn't want to hear what she has to say. She has done nothing but work with me to get better lung function. I have interstitial lung disease meaning I have irrapareble damage. She has helped me maintain my lung function making my life better be being able to do what I love which is be in the outdoors.
