Dr. Nisreen Haideri, MD

My husband has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. We were assigned to Dr Haideri and have had two appointments, 1 at Overland Park Med Center and 1 at Menorah. Both locations had awful support for a wheelchair bound patient. No parking near the door and hills we had to struggle with because the parking was in back of the building with no entrance near. No functioning automatic door, etc. No medical professionals wore masks. We waited an hour past our appointment time. No portal to view our test results. And worst of all, a doctor who is unable or unwilling to help us understand what’s happening. No treatment plan just come back every 4 months for tests. Please, for the sake of your mental and physical health, find someone else for your care. Dr Haideri may mean well but doesn’t have the ability to empathize or educate her patients on the single most frightening and life threatening disease.

Dr. Haideri is a excellent cancer doctor. My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 and she has kept him alive with her skill, concern, knowledge and caring attitude. She always has his best interest at heart and answers all our questions. She adjusts treatment as needed and does her best to lessen chemo side effects. She needs a raise! We love her and drive the extra miles just to have her as our doctor. She is kind and honest snd we love the whole staff at Menorah Hospital!!

She saved my life. If I was diagnosed again I would seek her out. I have read some of these other posts and truly in shock. Not the experience I've ever had. I adore her.

Dr. Haideri treated me for very advanced metastatic breast cancer, and she absolutely saved my life. Before starting treatment, I went to KU for a second opinion and they were not as thorough as Dr. Haideri. I made an informed choice to put my trust in Dr. Haideri and have never regretted it. At every phase of the process she was well-informed about the latest treatment protocols, listened closely to my questions and concerns, and proved in every visit that she was my partner in the entire treatment process. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone.

I see Dr. Haideri at the VA medical Center so my review will be limited to that facility and not her private practice. I find Dr Haideri to be very knowledgeable in her field. She has a very professional approach, yet at the same time she is very compassionate and caring. She has been treating me for about 18 months now for gastric cancer. She is always very forthright and honest with me. She works with me on holistic treatments that I incorporate into my care. I would highly recommend her as an oncologist.

I have now seen Dr haideri three times - I really want to like her but each time I leave saying I have no confidence in her and don’t want to go back. She blew off my concerns and seems disinterested. I would not recommend her to a friend nor family member. Not sure how to go about finding a new oncologist but I’m going to figure it out.

The Office can't tell you how much it will cost you. The Doctor was 40 minutes late. The Physician bill was $215 before insurance. The Hospital Bill was $2,200 before insurance for a blood test. I got little information and no diagnosis and they scheduled me for an appointment 6 months down the road. Everything this doctor did to diagnose me a Nurse Practitioner could do. This doctor and hospital are not worth the money they charge.

Professional, and provides excellent care. Treated me with an aggressive Stage III breast cancer and now a survivor of one-year.
